    It all works the same, Turo is insuring through a 3rd party and each Turo "host" (individual or llc) is insured up to 750k. Turo works on a shared revenue format. The more you give them the more "insurance", perks and coverage they provide.

    I have thought about Turo, and that is one way to go. I'm thinking of a short term lease to an individual on future purchases. I have four reservations and intend on Turo later on. It may be the best choice now. But I was hoping for a possible 6 month lease for the whole price.

    I justed rented a CT on Turo as a test drive since I just couldn't wait. The front pillar is a serious issue. Its way to thick. I almost ran over someone at a crosswalk since I could not see out that front right side.

    There seems to be a provision that simply gives Tesla 1st right of refusal to buy back truck at per mile discount… So you wouldn’t wanna sell via Turo until bouncing it off Tesla. Prolly get most of your money back.

    Sorry to see this...Curious about the rental/insurance details. Will this be a claim on your personal insurance or will it be from a service like Turo? Seems that there should also be a claim for diminished value. How did the driver say it happened?
