Yeah it's a bit expensive, IIRC there is a free demo for a week or so....of course I wish it was "automatic" with the Tesla App.
I rent both my Y and CT on Turo so I like to know WTF is going on around my cars, it works with both on one subscription.
...CT in May, I didn't really intend to drive for UBER for long with the CT - amazed they still haven't added the CT yet.
But as much as I hate to have more competition I did list the truck on Turo and that is going pretty well about $10k in 4 months @ about $450/day with discounts for multiple days
I’m a dummy and didn’t read your entire post ?. Thank you for the clarification.
I have driven the ford lighting many times. Both Lariat and Platinum. Ford and tesla really could’ve built something excellent together if they collaborated on this effort.
Instead, we got Ford substandard build...
...Of course, there is insurance. But if a stranger totals a truck that you spend your hard earned money for, you might not get another chance at the FS (if that's something that matters to you).
I know lots of people make money off of renting cars out on apps loke Turo. But that isn't for me.
Was he trying to set the battery pack on fire? Or he just wants to make a statement about Elon and Trump and had no real clue on how to do anything other than to throw a bunch of meaningless stuff in the back and then he lit it on fire, but did not realize how gas fumes work in a small contained...
Not as long but long enough … 98 days AWD no VIN!! I am renting a Cybertruck via Turo tomorrow in Vegas for the weekend! Hopefully that will help the pain of waiting!
Hi ? I went decided to rent one from Turo since mine only God knows when it’s arriving ? you’re right, I really enjoyed in 4 days the truck so much that I missed already! I have a model S 2022 Refresh… but CT is another level ! ✌️????
Yup, he just gave that thief a payday. He can go after Turo, the renter, and the CT owner. I was in a jury selection once for a case like this. I told the judge I'm bias and the thief should go to jail. I was kicked off the jury selection.
...wait a looong time. you can go and practice that attitude at Ferrari dealership and see how it goes :)
if you are dead serious about MUST buy CT and MUST test drive it before, there is a simple solution - Turo. I had people rent my M3 on Turo for 2-3 days to get a feel, to let wife ease into it ?
...it’ll be in evidence for quite some time. Under the circumstances, I doubt the original owner will have to worry about a replacement even if his insurance company/Turo tried to deny the claim. Tesla or any number of third parties I’m sure would love the free publicity of replacing this guy’s car.
My first experience with a Tesla was a M3P Turo rental.
I went to an appointment some distance away, and the in-car nav showed I would have enough capacity to get there, but not get back. Since I was running late, I saw there was a Supercharger nearby the destination, and figured I could charge...
...hazard lights honk and call the authorities.
chances are this is not for entertainment at the amusement park. and if you got your cybertruck on turo don't you wonder what your guest is doing in your truck? ask them and spy on them. its not a secret that you can view the live cam when its...
I've never gotten that low, a bit terrifying! I did once leave into the Colorado mountains with a planned 10% arrival energy and got a little nervous when a snow storm came through. Ever since then I've charged to at least 20% arrival energy just in case.
Wow that's cool, I wonder how much they charged on Turo. I don't think I can let a complete stranger drive my CT supervised nevermind un-supervised. I would develop an anxiety complex.
