Hansshow V2 (2.5 / 3) Upgraded Media Rearview Mirror Install Article and Video

I don't doubt that you have a problem with the image (and I think you said only the rear camera not the one that is part of the mirror for the front image) and that you have had a good image but then it went blurry for some reason. My image has been clear since day 1 and has stayed clear so I...
  2. B-Pillar sentry mode / side camera view now active. Update your Tesla app

Had to re-pair phone key. B pillar still not showing in the app and definitely still not in the truck. I am still a little ticked that the camera views changed on screen and they don't show the door slightly. Even the backup view no longer shows the center of the rear bumper. Hopefully they fix...
  3. Mars Adventure Gear Full rack system installed!

Hi! With your current rear camera placement, is the rack/crossbar blocking any of the view? Would you mind sharing a photo of how the view shows from the camera? Thank you!

My CT now backs up proper distance to supercharger. Before was 6 inches short

I do miss the stitched camera view I had in some previous cars (like my Volvo) but I understand why they don't have it in the Teslas (licensing) The virtual overhead is great in parking lots with the lines to know when your front or rear has entered or left a space.

Installed Wolfbox G900 Pro Dashcam on Dash tray

Thanks for sharing this! It's a nice and detailed review, which inspires others a lot. And great mount you printed.

Installed Wolfbox G900 Pro Dashcam on Dash tray

Really looks good....I like that location. You going to keep the factory rearview?

Installed Wolfbox G900 Pro Dashcam on Dash tray

I just finished installing a @Wolfbox G900 pro - mainly to have a decent rear view. It's mounted to the dash tray behind my screen. Full description of the setup on my website. https://www.casadelgato.com/EV/Cybertruck/Cybertruck.html After owning my Cybertruck for a while, and hauling...

    Full Billet Suspension Build Coming!!!!!!!!

No defense necessary, we are all still learning. I am never sure I did it correctly until afterwards. But are you saying you were controlling the drone from the driver's seat? If so, props to the ending view where the truck just barely skimmed under the drone! That was a cool ending. It sounds...

    Full Billet Suspension Build Coming!!!!!!!!

In my defense, it was my first time on the trail. Everyone was videoing me waiting for failure and I was also the drone pilot. ROFL I would also argue the 360 camera view is a lifesaver in the cybertruck. Its front view is terrible any time it is pointing up. The steer by wire/rear steer...

    Software Update requests

    1) Have the ride height adjust when put in gear, not later. Currently it adjusts at some point in the parking lot. When backing up to a curb, it settles down behind the curb, and needs to be raised before moving forward, or it rips off the mudflaps. Also parking lots often have the steepest...

Spare Tire Carrier - RiGd Ultraswing Mega

Unrelated to this particular tire mount (which looks very good btw) I was driving with a trailer hitch bike rack and had the same message. Used FSD anyway. It was noticeably worse which surprised me. The truck had a lot more trouble centering in the lane and I had to take over a few times. Also...

My 3 hour test drive of the Cybertruck

At our age Full Self Driving is the only way to go. Let the Beast drive you - you deserve it.... I've had mine a year now. Taking the mirrors off does help see out the sides and the"ghostly surround" is great too.. The screen and cameras show you everything you need to "supervise your...

Yes, but there is a message that FSD may be degraded, rear camera view occluded.

My 3 hour test drive of the Cybertruck

I'm your age less a half dozen years - Yes the truck seems big and overwhelming -at first- but once you learn the cameras and the button on the steering wheel that turns on the front camera you'll get more comfortable. After a year I just took off the mirrors to see out the sides better. (yes-...

Picking a Rear View Mirror/Camera setup

Okay, I've decided to use a Wolfbox G900 Pro. I want to mount it above and behind the truck Display Screen. (MUCH more convenient to see than up where the useless rear view mirror is.) Anyone have instructions on how/where I can get 12v power? Also info on how to run the camera cable up to the...
  16. My 3 hour test drive of the Cybertruck

You must have never driven a truck. I had several Rams before the CyberTruck and this thing turns on a dime compared to any truck and most cars. While driving, it makes cornering really comfortable for larger vehicle. The ride is nothing short of nuts given the size of the tires and it is a...

My 3 hour test drive of the Cybertruck

I’m in San Antonio and have 27k+ miles worth of CT experience. The steer-by-wire is phenomenal and driving was easy to adapt to. It drives and turns like a sedan. Use the front camera to help you get used to pulling into a parking spot. The overhead view helps as well. Backing up into a parking...

My 3 hour test drive of the Cybertruck

3 hours, very cool. The service center only offers 30 minute test drives so haven’t waisted my time driving three hours just to tease myself. One day. Take care.
  19. My 3 hour test drive of the Cybertruck

I came from a 2020 Model Y to the Cybertruck, so can help provide my perspective as someone who also had a Y. Prior to the CT, never owned a pickup truck...don't think I've ever driven one for more than 10 miles on backroads either. I'll keep my post to just answer your questions/comments...
