  1. Aftermarket Video Rear Mirror -- suggestions / advice?

Wolfbox's video rear view mirror is an option that some owners have installed -- here's a few https://www.cybertruckownersclub.com/forum/threads/wolfbox-g900-tri-pro-dash-cam-review.44936/...

Aftermarket Video Rear Mirror -- suggestions / advice?

Thanks Jeff, but I haven’t had the same experience here in the PnW between the rain constantly blocking the view of the camera, and then drying and making it dirty and needing constant cleaning, and the somewhat pixelated picture I’ve found a better solution. I’m glad you’re happy with your...

Aftermarket Video Rear Mirror -- suggestions / advice?

I am sorry, I just don’t get it. The rear view camera view on factory display seems to be good enough, in fact I turn off the rear camera view 99% of the time. If I do look to rear while driving I use side mirrors. cant justify $500 for add-on cameras.
  4. Aftermarket Video Rear Mirror -- suggestions / advice?

Never had a problem with the onboard camera in rain or at night. I understand kind of unnerving not to have that typical rear view mirror up there to look at

  6. Aftermarket Video Rear Mirror -- suggestions / advice?

Why do you need a video rearview mirror? The screen has a very nice rear view camera that shows everything behind you perfectly. Had my truck since early Foundation release. I removed the wimpy little rear view mirror the first day snd never missed it for a second, In my experience installing...
  7. Moving on from Cybertruck

I owned a VERY early VIN Model S (under 4,000) that was built in December of 2012, took delivery on January 17th, 2013. I had every early adopter issue, known, and then some. I understand how you feel. I lost count of my service center visits, but it was north of 50, from every door handle...
  8. Feature Requests (for Tesla)

1.Rear camera sprayer . Wet road driving doesn't take long before rear view mirror is completely blocked . Renders FSD completely and dangerous to drive without rear view sight . Especially since there is no actual functional rear view mirror . 2. Front headlight washers . marked dimming up...

Trick to get FSD working with the tailgate down

Adding a camera is simple. Integrating the video into FSD is another matter. Even the current cameras, with known positions and capabilities, must calibrate for some number of miles.
  10. Trick to get FSD working with the tailgate down

Seems like in this world of super technology it should be easy to install a rear view camera to replace the tailgate camera when towing. Wireless to the rear of the trailer being towed should be easy also if the tailgate is down for longer loads. I will be hauling a 24" HDPE culvert in a few...

    Feature Requests (for Tesla)

Wireless would have a lag and could be dangerous. But yes a real screen mirror would be nice. It’s also interesting that you can’t plug in trailer cameras into the hitch, they are pretty much standard on most expensive trucks now.
  12. Feature Requests (for Tesla)

rear view mirror retrofitted into a legit viewscreen that takes a feed from a wireless repositionable camera. leave the tailgate fsd camera in place as is.

    NACS extension cord for Superchargers

Not a single person here has such a truck. We all purchased rigorously tested vehicles. No, they didn't specify "Tesla approved", just "validated". Anyone can validate their own product. I posted this response because there are naive people out there who are blissfully unaware and unbothered...
  14. NACS extension cord for Superchargers

...agreed to pre-alpha, alpha, beta, release candidate test a several thousand pound robot with no door handles that we have to add a rear view camera to. as they say in the hospital, im “MD Aware” of the apocalyptic thermonuclear potential of using this specific product that I cant yet even...
  15. Picking a Rear View Mirror/Camera setup

I installed the Hansshow 12" version 2. first it's the best mod I did. I would not drive the truck without it. Not only you see behind, but you also see 2 lanes on each side of blind spots. I love it. But it has a bug and Hansshow support sucks, and you can't speak with anyone. When I drive...
  16. What features would get you to upgrade your existing Cybertruck to a newer model?

align/contrast with yours 1. Cabin power feed to support Starlink Mini (100W USB-C PD), we have, my mini wall wart is plugged into the 110v outlet on the back of the center console 2. Adaptive headlights (super dope on my 2026 Model Y and previous 2023 Model Y) agree 3. High-mounted rear...
  17. FSD 14.2.2 (Update 2025.45.5) now installing on Cybertrucks!

I appreciate your response. I stopped reading the screen messages mostly a long time ago because, despite wearing eyeglasses, I find the font way too small & difficult to read. So maybe those messages have been around for a long time after all. But yesterday was also the first time my wife...

FSD 14.2.2 (Update 2025.45.5) now installing on Cybertrucks!

Yes, this message is normal - I've seen it multiple times before. It happens when the interior camera has a hard time recognizing or validating the your attentiveness. This could happen for many reasons, such as (but not limited to): 1) Your eyes being out of frame of the interior camera - for...

I'd be interested in this as well. My aftermarket rear view cam powers on in front of the passenger seat in the foot area though.
