  1. Powered Frunk In Action! Great shots!!

That looks like a pretty standard adjustable bump stop for the frunk lid.
  2. Cybertruck engineers bend upper control arm in testing

Definitely seems like the UCA needs boxing around the whole outer end instead of having the upper ball joint mounted in flat steel with no reinforcement around the end.
  3. Trailer towing Range

Love that diagram and I feel like I intuitively understand the impacts of the different shapes with one exception - why is the half-sphere LOWER drag than the full sphere? The way I’ve always thought of aero, conceptually at least, is in terms of a ā€œvacuum shadowā€ behind the shape moving...
  4. Cybertruck spotted getting Chik-fil-A šŸ—

Actually I hadn’t thought about the fact that with the rear-wheel steering I wouldn’t have to be quite as careful in drive thrus as I do in my F150 to avoid the curb on the tight corners, so…. I also hadn’t thought through the geometry related to rear-wheel steering and trailers - I wonder if I...
  5. Cybertruck now wrapped as Toyota Tundra!! 🤣 [Video]

Me too! Translucent dark green wrap, for that Mjolnir effect.
  6. Cybertruck size comparison with Ford F-250 Superduty pickup (side by side photo)!

It all depends on what you want to use it for, but for me, I’d want to be able to put a quad or a quad and a dirt bike in the bed, and be able to close the tail gate. My 5’5ā€ F150 bed is way too small for that unfortunately and it means I usually pull a trailer just so I don’t have to mess...
  7. New wheels / aero wheel covers spotted on Cybertruck -- 7/31/23

My guess is they were doing testing on a brake option and didn’t want people to see. Maybe full electric brake calipers?
  8. Cybertruck wrapped like an ICE F-150 🧐 Frunk Open Look (No Tub Installed)

How does the hinge for that frunk work? Doesn’t seem like the rounded hinge arm would be able to fit under the windshield when the frunk is closed if the bracket slides into a rounded sleeve, but it also doesn’t seem like it could fit if it pivoted down from a hinge on the back of the arm...
  9. Side-by-side comparison of prototypes shows how Tesla botched the production redesign process

Are you sure? My wife’s Audi SQ5 alllows you to change suspension height by drive mode or manually at any point. Teh only one you can’t use on the highway is ā€œoff-roadā€.
  10. [Video Added!] Cybertruck spotted with new side mirror design! Musk confirms removable (Feb 1, 2023) šŸ“ø

To me those squares definitely look like plastic covers for mounting points for a ladder rack or some other structure mounted above the vault.
  11. Elon: Cybertruck will have Autopilot HW4. Production still coming in Summer. Beta Cybertrucks coming next month. CT will be Musk's personal vehicle

100%... I get a warm feeling when I smell Hoppe's #9 - it reminds me of being a kid playing next to my Dad while he was working at his reloading bench... WD-40 is the same kind of flashback - it brings back memories of fixing crap that someone less mechanically inclined would have thrown away...
  12. Elon: Cybertruck will have Autopilot HW4. Production still coming in Summer. Beta Cybertrucks coming next month. CT will be Musk's personal vehicle

I've got a decent beard going too, but the only way I'd be described as an operator is if someone asked me to transfer their phone call.
  13. Elon: Cybertruck will have Autopilot HW4. Production still coming in Summer. Beta Cybertrucks coming next month. CT will be Musk's personal vehicle

I heard the Cybertruck is going to suck and it's ugly so you definitely shouldn't buy it. (There, now it's a 61% dropout rate - you're welcome)
