I would be very surprised if there were any quality issues with the 10 deliveries, considering they were built by hand. All the photos of casting outside Giga Texas is all for show, has anyone noticed any turnover in that inventory!? Parts and pieces don't mean jack squat, until we see a...
Is it just me, or does anyone else find it strange that the production model hasn't been introduced to the public, and we are suppose to be approximately six weeks away from the start of deliveries?! I also find it odd that early reservation owners haven't been contacted to perform final...
For all of those that think that the BAW is okay, and those that have nothing to contribute, other than to criticize creative think, go buy a Nissan Leaf!! You don't get it, and you don't understand Elon. He hates the BAW, and this is the guy, and his team, that is building the Starship! As a...
I think Diehard, post #9, might be on to something! Nobody knowns how to milk the media like Elon. I'll be waiting for the tweet on the replacement design for the BAW!
Yeah, it would be fine if your company wasn't the leader in turning the automotive industry upside down with innovative design and technology. That's 100 year old technology!
I agree that a 6th seat option is a necessary option. It just won't be the same without your girlfriend (or wife, or either) sitting next to you!! Right Grimes??!!
Okay, I was hoping the Tesla engineers could come up with an acceptable design on their own, but it looks like they need our help. I would propose a compressed air system that shoots air up and over the windshield. The unit could utilize the heat pump to warm the air when necessary. Please...
Everything had gone quiet regarding new product development, got exactly what I was expecting. Musk thinks he can say whatever he wants, over promise and under deliver. This will come back to haunt Telsa in the future. Consumers don't forget, and the competition is picking up steam
Current weight limits, and bridge (distance between axles) laws will not change to accommodate EV semi trucks. They will need to figure out how to reduce weight, or they will carry less payload.
I have a reservation for the dual motor CT, but would like to upgrade to the +500 mile battery. Has there been any discussion regarding battery upgrade options?
I was so impressed with the Lightning, and the Bronco, I bought some Ford stock. There will be more loyal Ford owners that will jump ship, I respect that. One size does not fit all, and the Lightning might just be a better fit. But, at the end of the day, do you want a leading edge product...
I don't mind slumming it for awhile driving my Q7. Besides, the $100 deposit is a no brainer hedge against inflation. I have a deposit on two CT's, and will be laughing all the way to the bank with a tidy profit from selling one of them!!!
The most costly component is the battery. They wouldn't be able to sell it for that price with today's battery technology, but battery cost will be significantly changed when the Cybertruck starts rolling of the line.
I wanted to add something else to my wish list. My Q7 has sunshades embedded in the door that can be pulled up to darken the rear seat area or used as a privacy screen. That would be a great option for have in all four doors of a CT!!!
