Blame that on all the urban cowboys that wined because they have an inadequate garage. I’m personally fine with the size. My 🌮 with a 6’ bed is just about perfect.
Charging is definitely the key. We like to go deep into NE WA. and North Idaho and it’s 122 or more miles past the last charger. even without towing, I wouldn’t be able to take a 300 mile range truck loaded with everything into the dark corners. We need chargers in these areas.

Having a shorter bed would be the equivalent of putting 12'ers into my bed and that makes me uncomfortable. Don't stress, it's ok if a 6' bed is better for me. It also allows me to lay 4x8 sheets with the gate down and it's all supported and not hanging off the back. I'm sure plenty of guys do...
