What's your wish list for future versions of FSD after receiving V14? I understand it's still being rolled out but let's start a list of some features we think would be necessary.
I'll start:
School zone and bus stop detection
We need FSD to accurately detect school zones and school buses...
It’s not full size but I thought it is neat how retailers are using this type of advertising. It looks to be made out of painted plywood pieces.
Too bad they didn’t use an updated model without door handle holes.
A G Wagon crashed into 7 parked vehicles at The Star in Frisco, TX. The first of 7 vehicles is a Cybertruck; split in half with the rear and bed no longer attached.
At least the CT's cant rail stayed on. But in all seriousness, I hope the driver will be okay...
I was inspired by @ogdobber's method but wanted to use weather stripping instead of adhesive foam strips. After doing some brief research, I found some 15mm thick strips that works well. There is a small amount of pressure applied to the weather strip when the tailgate is closed which is why I...
I ran into a regular nonFS CT today and noticed the mirror cover and the mirror base plastic is different than my FS. The new material is similar in texture to the wheel arch fairings instead of the smoother FS version. Not sure if this is intentional or not but figured I’d share in case any of...
Just wanted to pop in to remind our friends in the Pacific Northwest to charge up those CTs for PowerShare. Best of luck with the storm!
I hope the Superchargers in the area will stay powered for recharging.
I picked up the set of all-terrain aero wheel covers from the local service center. I also requested them not to be installed after seeing many being incorrectly aligned and some people reporting scratches. Here are the step-by-step installation instructions on how I put them on.
TLDR: if you...
While I like the WeatherTech rubber mats from Tesla, I didn't like it covers part of the Cybertruck doorsill emblem. So I decided to try out the XPE Floor Mats from @BestEvMod(AOSK) .
Perfect Fit: These mats fit perfectly. No awkward gaps or shifting around, which is a relief and it keeps the...
Ever since the FSD update, my CT’s navigation will display this message every morning despite being in wifi and also receiving LTE signal. A MY loaner I had last week also had the same message but less frequent.
Have any of you experienced this?
I've spent a few days with @BASENOR's wireless charging mat and cup holder insert. Here's some feedback and thoughts on both items.
Wireless charging mat
Made out of a rubbery material with a small piece of carbon fiber grain on the tip. The overall look is fitting to the CT.
It covers the...
I tested out FSD today and it seems pressure is no longer required on the steering wheel or squircle for FSD to continue to work compared to other Tesla models with FSD. Have you all with FSD on the CT experienced the same?
Just installed the door handle storage and the frunk net from @BestEvMod(AOSK) / EVVida and I'm liking them both.
Door Handle Storage
Easy drop in containers that fit each door handle area. Installation took 30 seconds and provides a quick storage location for my phone or sunglasses. It's a no...
I recently received the Center Console Organizer Behind Screen Storage Box prototype from @BASENOR, here are my initial impressions with installed pictures.
Overall impressions: made out of a 3D printed flexible TPE material. The material provides enough traction so it does not slide around at...
It started last month and have been progressively getting worse. I’ve tightened the seat’s bolts to the mounting bracket with no help. My assumption is it’s the seat pad that is moving instead of the entire seat, and I need to lose weight. ?
Have you all had this issue?
I decided to give the 3-pocket bed net from @BestEvMod(AOSK) a try since I was impressed with their envelope version. Overall, I prefer this one the most, although I’m keeping the others for various uses and locations.
The previous envelope net required mounting in four places—two on top and...
I dropped off the cybertruck at the local SC and got a model 3 loaner. Feeling a little insecure from the vehicle size department next to these other trucks at the light ?
