Since v14, CT has been displaying “hands free mode disabled. Low cabin illumination” during night drives, causing a reversion back to applying torque to the squircle every 30 seconds or so. Model Y doesn’t do it, but CT does. CT v13 never did that, so either something got jacked up with my cabin...
Let me know your price shipped to Dallas, TX or face to face around here. I’m planning a custom job, but I’m also curious about the white and how the supposed glare looks in person, so I wanna pop it in first to see. Might stick with it, might do my custom job, might go back to my grey, who knows!
Y’all just get your heads out of the gutter about why I’m asking. I’m just curious and don’t have another driver to test this with. When you restrict location from another driver:
1) Do they get a notification?
2) What does their app show? Last known location or none at all?
3) If you’re...
So the unveil popped up on YouTube as something I might like. I watched it again and came to a realization. Back in 2019, Tesla “promised” some stuff. I use that word lightly as you can’t always expect production models to match up with prototypes. Any prototype unveil should be taken for what...
@T Sportline to the rescue with, hands down, the best solution to date for mating a Starlink Mini and CT.
Their new Voltage Conversion System makes it super easy to hardwire directly to the frunk feed. It takes the 48V feed from the frunk and outputs 100W via USB-C (safe for Starlink). It also...
Just figured I’d make folks aware of THIS POST by Teslarati. I know there’s a lot of people who want unlimited supercharging. I’d totally be on board for that price, but yet again Tesla seems to have forgotten about their red headed stepchild.
This is coming up to a line of cars waiting at a red light. 3 cars behind me, an Impala wasn’t paying attention and slammed into a Challenger which pushed that into a Tahoe which pushed that towards me. Cybertruck decided not to be involved and moved forward, giving a few inches of clearance...
I want to get accurate 0-60 times for Beast/Sport/Chill modes plus Beast mode with launch control activated. I also want to properly compare Chill/Sport modes between an AWD and a Beast (and a LR, if anyone around here has one).
I have a Beast and a Dragy unit. I need at least one person with...
When I ordered, I saw core wheels were included, cyber wheels were a $3,500 upgrade, and that Tesla offered the cyber wheel and winter tire package for $3,000. Save $500 and have 4 spares? That’s a no-brainer to me. I ordered with cores.
Up until now, I’ve been wondering how to “update” my...
Obviously, we all know Cybertruck is the greatest vehicle ever conceived - that goes without saying. But there’s 2 things: primary trucks and secondary trucks.
Your primary? You drive that when you wanna have fun and can do it safely. Secondary? That’s what you drive when you enter risky...
I’d appreciate it (if you aren’t entering the contest yourself) if you’d check this out.
I tried to keep it overall Tesla-focused instead of just CT-focused but it was kind of hard with how capable CT is. Easily could have done the whole video with just CT.
Got bombarded by kids at Chick-fil-A, all in total awe of this machine. They were inside/outside/upside down on the truck. One of them came up to the window and said “rev it!” I wasn’t sure how to respond, so I just said “it doesn’t rev, it’s electric.”
He looked a little disappointed. Kids are...
Welp, they’re here.
Summary of changes:
• S Plaid exterior was redesigned and looks a little more aggressive than the AWD on the front and back, kinda like the 3 Performance
• There is, brace yourself for this shocker, an ambient light strip on the interior
• Range has improved a little bit...
I may have missed a full discussion on this as I joined the forum late, but at launch, Tesla advertised 7,435 lb-ft torque for the AWD and 10,296 for the Beast.
Motor Trend listed these specs significantly lower - 521 for AWD and 863 for Beast - much more believable.
Has anyone made any sense...
We need a rear wheel fairing replacement cap, something that covers this area:
I’d personally like it to fill that area in, blend/be even with the bottom of the rocker panel, and have a hole for pinning the liner.
The fairings aren’t worth having on there. Off-roading destroys them (heck...
It was a full house tonight at a new 1/8 mile drag strip. There were lots of souped up Mustangs, Corvettes, Camaros, Challengers, and Chargers as well as a group of guys in Lambos and a group of guys on bikes.
Absolutely everyone refused to get on the line with me. No doubt some of the cars...
A passerby asked me what the ratio of AWD to Beast was. I’m assuming somewhere in the neighborhood of 5:1, but I’m not sure. This forum is about as scientific as we can get. Answer truthfully!
