Has anyone successfully completed the phone pairing shown in the app? It has a persistent notice, pushing me to address it, but the screenshot makes it look like it’s only for Powerwalls.
I followed all the suggestions adding both caulk and a weather strip to seal the glass portion, but water is still coming in from another area. Also, it should be noted, I didn't have any foam attached to the glass to remove (I followed this: ).
Here what I see when looking upwards:
I have had this reviewed twice during recent service appointments and they just keep telling me it's within specs (the truck was in for other issues). Is there a service bulletin or something I can reference for the weather stripping?
Just to confirm, I’ve been using a heavy duty 15 amp 3 pronged extension cord for level 1 charging when traveling. Is this a better or safer option than that? This extension would also allow me to reach more dryer outlets for faster changing when traveling.
I had the exact same result, although I did receive shipping information a couple days later and it should be here tomorrow. Clearly this was a widespread issue (relatively) at some point of time.
Sounds like we’re on the same page. Worrying about every mark and scratch on a vehicle is a large weight on everyday life. Freeing yourself from that with HFS is part of the benefit of ownership.
Yes, same issue when I enter the vehicle. Clicking around the interface to play a song fixes, but it would be nice to get in the truck and have YT Music start playing without the error.
I have a similar spot on my hood. I figured it was from Tesla buffing out some imperfection.
Since owning the truck for a couple months I've shifted my thinking on the stainless from expecting it to be perfect to instead having character and a patina. Kind of like how really high quality...
I'm sure it's low on their priority list, but I hope this gets redesigned with a more rigid structure.
While meaningless, the service center suggested it might get redesigned if there are universal issues with the product. Not sure how anyone at Tesla corporate would be driving around without...
For those who have taken delivery, I’ve noticed the included Foundation Series center console tray has very soft edges holding it in its elevated position and often times it falls through.
When I asked the service center about this, they suggested a replacement would have the same issues.
I’m...
I recently received a PowerShare quote of over $5000. If I update it to note I already have an existing wall charger and if I set it up to just do a whole panel backup rather than a separate box, the cost goes down close to $3000 less.
Any downside to the whole panel backup? I was thinking in...
I ordered one based on this post and it’s been great. Lays flat and out of the way when I don’t need it and when I do, I can just shove stuff under the net to avoid it from rolling around (especially with the acceleration of this vehicle - which is likely unique vs ICE trucks).
Mine shows v12 (2024.20.1) and when I received it the back speakers were not working at all. I read on here from someone else with the issue that the software upgrade fixed theirs which also fixed mine.
