What is the status of the wraps? Do you feel like you have conquered the possibility of the wind/aerodynamic issues produced at significant speeds? any update on the timeline?
Given the tight clearance (although 1/2” does not look tight in non motion) when the wheel and tire flex during a sever compression event (bad pothole for example) the gap goes to less than zero, the wheel cover jams into the tire. Given the damaged area is localized, four sprockets, i would...
I see both sides of the proverbial coin. The one caveat I hold to to push to the be on the patient side is SAFETY, don’t put it out until you have reached a certain level of certainty that it is safe and not be rushed into skipping steps or fudging necessities. This is potentially our lives and...
I did the 70% and am very happy with the results as the tint i used blocks more of the heat while keeping an adequate amount of light coming in except for the dark evenings, without moonlight, away from civilization which is infrequent in my case, sadly. If you frequent unlit roads at night...
Unfortunately, i had cargo in the back that was semi loose and did not want to run the risk of it flying out. That was my first thought and squashed it as substituting one safety concern for another. My opinion is that it should nearly be an act of god for the rear view camera to not be...
Can’t comment on front camera but the rear view camera periodically comes and goes which is a big safety issue in my opinion as other than your side view mirrors ability to see some of what is behind you that is the only access to what is directly behind you with the bed cover closed.
I would encourage a robust set of edging possibly a one piece that goes completely around whichever rectangle is being covered (secures at the ends or is semi stretchable to secure itself) and is either very clear or colored the same as the cover. I can envision the edging being something that...
These systems are not perfect but they are very helpful most of the time in my opinion/experience. There are times when sytem overreacts and times when it under reacts. There is still a lot of work to be done to make these systems better and closer to Full Self Driving(FSD). Poorly marked roads...
Keep in mind this is supervised full self driving and that word supervised is very important. We can talk till the cows come home about the wording full self driving part. Do yourself and anyone driving with you a huge favor and keep your hands on the wheel and you attention on completely taking...
I think it is a good idea. Storage might be an issue if you plan to remove it so the ability to collapse it and or fold it might be a good idea. I could envision a 2 or maybe even 3 different versions. One simple and least expensive for the slide it in and leave it in, second along the lines of...
I was a long time purchaser of the F150; purchase new and hold on to them for nearly a decade and pass them down to family for a vary reasonable price. Fords’ business model was to deny all warranty service unless customer was able to find some sort of recall, service bulletin or were tenacious...
