I admire your dedication. But too much work for me. Lots of dirt exposure here like dirt roads. Today’s cleaning is good enough. Pressure washer, not on highest setting and a wide spray nozzle. All surfaces wiped with a big sponge. When it dries I can go back to spots I missed the surface is...
I bought 2 roof racks and installed them on the higher 2 bolt locations. The racks from Tess Studio are not the same height. By placing the taller one in front, the slope of a long load will rest on the tailgate when closed.
I have been telling people my CT is polite. Not many examples, but at an intersection if already stopped, will allow others to join in, 1 or 2 before reasserting. Never passes on the right. Pretty darn reasonable. Maybe yours was not brought up right?
I worry the cast aluminum frame would not hold up well. Plowing takes a lot of force to the front. If it is appropriate, I certainly would go for a V plow, stainless steel, naturally.
Last winter my CT on FSD refused to operate under extreme weather conditions. I forgave it as it was really nasty out, I wonder why I was even there, now. Too much snow and FSD knows it is unsafe.
The floor mats may be good, but poor website. They will not let you view their offerings until you have signed in and accept their junk mail. People please.
So what has been falling off the CT? Seems to be a failing of a glue system, and some news reports say that stainless panels have fallen off. Surely the large sheets of stainless are not just attached with glue? It is a long way to the Dealer, and I don't want to do that if there is no actual...
Used some of it, 2 new wiper blades at $70 each and a charging station at around $500. Got a reservation for an air compressor if they ever come in. Before the year is done, I probably will buy a tire or two.
i learned the 4 ft. Wiper blade is delicate. Just an inch of snow on the windshield, but a bit of frost on top. Lazy me, I started the wiper before cleaning the screen, and instantly the blade broke off. Disaster! First flaw in my truck.
i ordered 2 replacements from Tesla, using my Foundation...
I like these bars. Installed a few weeks ago. Although they look the same, the front bar is bigger than the rear. This taper means that really long items, like a 16’ 2x4 will rest the back end on the tailgate when closed. That's good.
Maybe not everyone's experience, but it just does not do turning from paved road onto dirt road. Often comes to a shuddering stop. On dirt roads and even paved roads without white lines, it takes its half out of the middle. Plays it tight when meeting another car. It can get somewhat thrilling...
The CT should be able to do this instead of greedy feeding at the maximum power rate, costing me and the environment top dollar, it could easily calculate the minimum power draw so it is fully charged when next needed. How about software upgrade? My last power bill was over $220 for a partial...
If I want to set the charging rate to 30 amps, or less, the CT defaults back to 48 amps every day. If I once forget the find the screen that sets the charging rate, then i am screwed for another month. Is there a way to tell the truck that the new maximum should be lower than the highest...
My new CT is being charged in my carport. I installed a 48 amp circuit for this alone. I just got my first electric bill. It is still a lot of money. For the first month I had a zero energy charge, a generally green power supplier that is currently fully offset by my 5.1 KW solar array in the...
