Awesome info, thanks. I asked Grok about the garden hose flushing and Grok said bad idea but knowing what info you provided it seems a decent solution. I may wait for all the nastiness to dry up completely before the flush. Thanks again and Happy Thanksgiving!
I wonder if this would be rigid enough to guide down there. It says ideal for hair, wonder if they thought about rodent hair when they wrote that :ROFLMAO: :
That seems a little short for reaching all the way to the bottom of the tunnel, but worth a try. If I knew there was a drain hole or exit in the bottom, I would consider blowing it out or maybe flushing it out. I do not want to make matters worse, so I may just leave it for Tesla. Thanks.
I will try checking with a pest removal company, thanks for the idea.
The good thing is the smell stayed primarily outside the cabin so luckily you do not smell it inside. But you’re right it has a distinct undeniable smell. I have been driving around with the tonneau open to help ventilate and...
Yea I was afraid of that. As long as the smell dissipates in a reasonable amount of time I may leave it for Tesla. Besides the odor (which will fade over time) my main concern is chewed cables causing a short/open. Hopefully they have seen this before and have an action plan. We will see and I...
Yup thought of that but not seeing any slender flexible vacuum crevice tool over 25 inches long online. I hope that Tesla either has one much longer or has a way to access the area (thru an access panel). In order to get the photo I had to close the tonneau and crouch under it since the it...
Well it happened to me. Smelt something dead coming from the bed, next day flies were collecting around the tonneau tunnel opening and then I was able to get a camera down there and confirm. I scheduled a service appointment to address this and a few other things while there. I really want Tesla...
Thanks for replying. I will have to keep an eye on it. I do agree it is not designed to set the cabin temperature but I would hope that if I select max temp of 90 it would keep it below 95+ for example. And I do agree it can really suck down the battery during hot summers. Like I mentioned for...
Talking with my local Tesla Owners Club others have seen this as well. One member's truck got at high as 167 inside with overheat protection on?!?!?!. It could be the Texas heat making things worse.
I will say today my internal temp seemed to stay below 90. Anyone else having this issue or...
I normally leave my overheat protection at 90 deg on my Cybertruck and I have noticed that ever since I updated to 2024.26.7 it has been going way past 90 deg. I turned it off and back on just in case it needed a reset and still it overheats. Has anyone else experienced this?
