Probably, but FSD itself seems subjective or even random at times. Hurry mode for me runs between 9 and 14 miles above the speed limit at 60, sometimes it doesn't reach the speed limit which others report as well. Sometimes I blow through yellow lights, others it hard brakes. It will either turn...
Fair points except that he has admitted it won't work. Like you, I don't know the ins and outs of EU law but I do know what it is here in the States. Saying we are working on it after acknowledging that it won't work is not an indefinite safe harbor. IF there is litigation in the US, and that is...
I don't need the hitch in front, but is that bumper available for sale somewhere? I hate the plastic one, would love a steel bumper that doesn't cost a fortune.
Not sure what you mean by premature. I have a 2018 MS with FSD that works a little but not nearly as well as in my CT. Musk has admitted HW3 won't ever do what he promised when we bought it and yet no real steps to remedy the situation have occurred. The retrofit would be horribly expensive at...
adding to the stories, my CB braked hard to avoid a cat running across the road. My dog was in the backseat and barked at the cat, then stumbled a bit in her seat. Emptied everything off my seats and almost out of my bladder. But I never want to hit an animal so that was good.
the CT isn't a car, it is a computer with wheels. Anything electrical can fail and only Thor and Loki know why. Trying to run down an electrical issue is like trying to figure out a teenager's moods- trial and error plus luck under the best circumstances.
I have had a lot of new cars, they...
Semi trucks run those shaped air dams on top of their cabs, the alternative may be to add a guard in the front of the trailer that slopes down towards the back and tracks the line on the CB cab. I hate to invest the time to fabbing one if someone has already tried it and failed though.
My...
I am surprised that the air dam on the car hauler doesn't help. My trailer is a little wider than the truck, it has fenders that stick out. Do you think a shaped air dam on the front would help with range?
I traded my FS awd for an FS Beast and don't regret it. Interior is moderately nicer comfort was about the same but the smiles per mile of the extra speed is beyond compare. The Awd is no slouch and I would have been wise to keep it for the extra range but no ragrets.
To answer your question...
Mine just failed at 17k miles, FS CB. Same symptom, reduced AC charging soeed, not sure how long that occurred because I didn't really catch it at first, two of my chargers only charges at 24a anyway, the third is faster. In the shop now and I'm in a loaner. They also scheduled a bolt...
Or as lawyers say, we don't think they are funny, lay people don't think they are jokes.
I do find some of them funny, but my sense of humor is skewed and my clients like me. Mostly.
Red Bull doesn't give you actual wings either. Nothing illegal in anything here as in against the law or criminal. Unless the promise is a binding contract in the state where it was given (TLDR, it isn't) there is no civil claim for any of that stuff.
The law would write it off as puffery or...
I am a data point for not always. Put in a service ticket when my home charger draw wouldn't go a above 24a. Literally the day I put that in, the PCS2 failed. SC said to try it at a supercharger but wouldn't work there either. My scheduled appointment was almost 3 weeks out, they took me in and...
That is where I would be too. I pulled last week in freezing temps, got about 100 miles of range. Tesla chargers cost 1/3 as much as the truck stop ones but the latter had all pull through chargers where I had to drop the trailer at the Tesla ones.
Every car sales contract/purchase order I have seen recites that there were no inducements other than what appear on the document. Caveat emptor and all that.
Tesla actually means overpromise in ancient Gaelic.
I am a lawyer, and I agree. Class actions in theory are awesome, they make it feasible to bring cases where there are a lot of victims with similar small damages. In my opinion they get abused where there are big injuries (agent orange) and the lawyers get paid while the victims don't. You can...
same. I had a FS AWD for a year, traded it for a FS Beast 8 months ago. No real issues, bed readjustment on the first one, Beast had a camera recalibration when they reinstalled the off road light after a glue failure. Probably jinxed myself now.
