Eating is always good. Hopefully I donā€™t regret this. Thinking about Turo, but then worried what people would do with a monster truck on Turo and whether itā€™s worth risking for the money.

The order theyā€™ve tapped people in seems really weird. My RN was about 20k higher than yours. You arenā€™t the only one though, theyā€™ve skipped and jumped a bit. My Tesla account was opened long after I moved to Oregon, so no California ties there. BUT. I own a Tesla and I donā€˜t think you do...

Yeahā€¦ really weird, I figured it would be May/ June before I got mine. I think the price has slaughtered the pre-order list.

Canada is the only other country with Cybertrucks on display. They had Cybertrucks in Canada before they had any in Oregon. I was quite surprised about that, makes me wonder if they are going to start up deliveries there sooner.

Which were an even worse value than this. By a pretty large margin.

Thanks. Digging around trying to figure out how I can carve out of the cost. I should qualify for Section 179 which might save me a few thousand in taxes. Digging for more.

ā€¦ hows everyone doing? Kind of a good news/ bad news post. Bad news. WTF Teslaā€¦.. $100k for a F*ing pickup truck? Seriously GTFO. Iā€™ll let my new friend tell you about the good news.

New leaked video! Many Cybertrucks production completed w/ new wheel design + finished frunks!

Nah. Just tired of the bullshit running rampant here. Maybe come back when there is a truck instead of people arguing over piles of assumptions and stupid shit they drew in Photoshop.

So the Cybertruck fits in a garage (at under 19ft long)... But was the size reduction worth it for you?

You are literally circling the piece of truck which is not visible due to camera angle. The angled portion of the truck is still there. Front is shorter, but doesnā€™t end at the wheel well as this photo suggests. Frunk is likely smaller than some imagined it. Itā€™s a truckā€¦ bed size is king...

How many Cybertrucks deliveries in 2023 ?

My Impression is Austin Ys will continue to be supplied by Fremont while the first run Cybercells go to the Cybertruck. Fremont is still expanding and presumably still using the older chemistry. That way Model Y line is consistent and the Cybertruck line is consistent.

Well he said ā€œCurrent 4680sā€, sure in the future you can have any sort of thing in the 4680 package. Itā€™s sort of akin to ā€œAA Cell batteriesā€

This may be a big part of why no 500 mile at launch. Tesla is still making baby steps as a battery company.

How many Cybertrucks deliveries in 2023 ?

Based on Teslas cell production update looks like they will have cell capacity for 7500-10,000 trucks by end of the year if you assume the 350 miles truck is indeed first. With a longer range truck those numbers get trimmed way back. Likely 5,000-6,000.

I think any value from the spreadsheet weā€™ll get when deliveries start and they can update the assumptions based on real release info.

Iā€™ve been hearing rumblings around this 100 kWh/ 350 mile pack size. If they can pull that off it would be a huge win. Given the current predictions for Q4 cell production, that would be around 10,000 trucks for the 4th quarter and quite a few more for the 1st quarter 2024. The 500 mile range...

Not certain but this is looking less and less likely. Seems like a shorter range model first.

On the earnings call Tesla mentioned the new 4680 ā€œCyberCellā€ will have 10% higher energy density. I need to listen to the whole thing, but they called it the CyberCell. Seems like a not so subtle hint.
