Active Road Noise Reduction (Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)) Now Available on Cybertruck!

If the older models are any indication, you are in for a treat. I had a 2015 Model S and over the almost 10 years of ownership, they were constantly adding new "features" through software. They re-engineered the entire interface twice (and IMHO improved it both times). Enjoy the continuing...

First FSD coast to coast cross-country drive, 0 interventions!

I find it hard to believe that they did not have to goose the accelerator to maintain the speed limit during the trip, there would be some upset people driving behind them if they were going below the limit. Adjusting the speed is the most frequent "intervention" I perform with 14.2.2.2.

New Tesla 4680 battery cells patent achieves fully dry electrode construction

Dumped this into Copilot and asked for a summary: 🚨 Tesla’s New 4680 Patent (US 2025/0364562) Context Tesla’s current Gen 1 4680 cells (used in Cybertruck) are hybrids: Dry-coated anode ✅ Wet-slurry cathode ❌ (still required ovens & solvents, costly and inefficient). The wet cathode was the...

Installed CyberGear Refrigerator (review video added)

I have the CyberGearCo's Center Floor organizer and trash bin and it fits the space perfectly. There are a few areas for improvement (mainly around sound insulation: when you put things under the bin and they hit the "walls" of the organizer, it is loud enough to hear), but the amount of extra...

Improvements needed when FSD is not working

I only have one major gripe about the CT (really any FSD enabled Tesla): If FSD has issues where it disables the ability to use any assistance features (FSD, TACC, park assist, etc) there needs to be an option to use "dumb" cruise control (as in you set a speed and the vehicle goes that speed...

Cybertruck parking visualization can see through walls

Personally, I'm still a bit disappointed that Tesla went away from putting the radar in the front bumper. I had an S85D that had the radar and it was rock solid (and could even "see" a few cars ahead when on a straight away in close traffic). I understand the desire to reduce costs, but in...

    The Cybertruck Handshake

For me, the biggest surprise for folks is that it has a 6 ft bed and that the ride is so smooth (and that it is a dream to drive, when I decide to actually take the squirkle) :)

Cybertruck - 1 Deer - 0; Deer strike at 60 MPH (Video Added & Graphic Image)

Wow, labor less than $1k! Overall, around $4,500 isn't terrible considering what happened. Glad you are OK.

    Share your most interesting accessory/mod/hack

I have to say: I think the flimsiness of the cable depends on the provider. The swivel I purchased (Tesstudio) had a pretty hard core cable that had a rubberized connector that was really stiff and there is no way it will slip out as a result. I also concur regarding the screen drop, it...

    Share your most interesting accessory/mod/hack

My 3 favorites so far are: 1) the screen swivel (medium PITA in install, but worth it) 2) the molle panels in the frunk / sail pillars in the Vault: I do a lot of work on a tree farm and having my axe, lopers and other accessories handy and organized speeds things along. 3) the center...

    Spotted: New Roof Glass Coming?

Man, I hope you're joking! I felt extremely lucky with my Model S not to ever have any moonroof leaking. I used it probably 10 times in 9 years. On a piece of glass the size of the glass on the CT, image how strong the motor would have be to move it. I *think* Tesla learned their lesson...

    Rearview camera zoom feature!

Now, if they could make it always "stick" to being there: when you open an app on the right pane the mirror view shifts (and shrinks) to the left pane. I'd like to see a setting where you can it always appear on the right pane, no matter what you are doing. It is a bit jarring to be looking in...

Tesla announces official opening of Cybertunnel at Giga Texas

Or maybe they have a "pace" car that is already calibrated?

New "trailer profile" for each trailer in latest software update

Agreed: At higher speeds, having the ability for all 4 wheels to steer in the same direction will help the truck glide between lanes and really reduce (if not eliminate) trailer sway as a result.

Husky Storage Containers fit nicely in Cybertruck bed

I love the Husky's in the back of my CT. I store my hunting clothes in them during season and they are waterproof so if the tonneau isn't 100% sealed, it doesn't really matter. I bought some at Home Depot for less than $35 and they have held up extremely well. They are stackable, so they...
