I’m RN11315….from 12-7-19…any guesses on invite timing? Also, if we pass on the Foundation series, at some point Tesla would come back with a new invitation?
Shorter bed in the Rivian, but it also has a gear tunnel which is a must in my ownership experience. Lack of DC charging? Rivian owners can use both CCS & Tesla. FSD? Currently, Rivian's Drivers + is better than the current Cybertruck. Long term? Who knows about either?
Wow...that is an amazing variation. Have you tried Amica? In my experience, the best insurance company. I'm in a much different age bracket and married. With $250/500 coverage and $1M liability, our Rivian R1T Quad is $900/6 mo.
Good heavens, the level and depth of excuses. Tesla blew it with such a small battery pack in a truck. Lots of amazing tech, but to small of a battery and inefficient ones at that.
That Dashboard looks the size of a playground. I’m hoping materials quality in final productions is much better. As of now this is making my R1T look like a keeper.
I’d guess the Model S Plaid + will only sell a few thousand units vs maybe 250k+, it’s still Tesla’s top model (“Halo” vehicle), is painted, etc. I agree though, the Tri-Motor looks like a bargain in comparison.
I love the updated S. I'm hoping much of this makes it to the CyberTruck...steering wheel, rear-seat screen? It really looks like Tesla is getting better and better at manufacturing which gives me great hope for CT.
I didn't realize you needed a site map. If you go in today, Tesla.com, configure a CyberTruck, it will give you timeframes to set expectations. For Single Motor configuration, it states Late 2022, for Dual & Tri, it states Late 2021.
I placed my order for a Tri-Motor in early December 2019. I have not gotten any emails related to leasing, so can I assume that I may be able to take delivery in early 2022? Time will tell.
With Rivian now having its configurator live and the ability to see pricing, specs, options, etc. I'm a bit torn. I original, just after the LA Auto show (Nov. 2018) pre-ordered the R1T and now have an R1T Max Pack on pre-order, so maybe sometime into 2022 for a possible delivery? When the...
Yes, we'll have to see what the numbers look like. I'm thinking more Solar for the house with battery backup & energy storage. I have a good set up now with a NG backup for hurricanes when we lose power for 3-4 days. With my utilities, I now have the option to switch to Time of Use metering...
