  1. Washing recommendations / tips for the Cybertruck stainless steel?

I find polyester microfiber to work a lot better. I used to use cotton towels. You have a point about the environmental impact.
  2. Washing recommendations / tips for the Cybertruck stainless steel?

No, that is a particulate (sand, grit, dirt, pieces of plastic, etc) filter. Typically these filters remove 5-50 micron sized particles. Hard water (calcium and magnesium carbonate) are much, much smaller molecules and require a water softener. If you have a house this is doable. I have a soft...
  3. Washing recommendations / tips for the Cybertruck stainless steel?

Fingerprints are body oil and dirt. Wash with Dawn hand dish detergent and water in the shade. Rinse with soft water (not hard tap water). Blow off excess water with a leaf blower. Wipe dry with good quality microfiber cloths. That's what I do for SS appliances (less the leaf blower!). I'm a...
  4. Magnetic Confirmed: Stainless Steel on Cybertruck is MAGNETIC 🧲

Stainless steels are roughly 75% iron, but that doesn't necessarily make them magnetic. "All stainless steel metals are a type of steel. That means their chemical composition contains iron. In most cases, stainless steel varieties with iron in their composition are magnetic. If the alloy has an...
  5. Active Noise Cancelling?!? Who knew...

Noise cancelling is not new technology. It has been available in cars for quite a long time. https://www.autobytel.com/10-cars-with-active-noise-cancellation
  6. Farley Thanks Musk For 48v Arch Doc

    Exactly. More volume. Lower cost.
  7. What happened to our [old] reservation numbers in this new world of AWD and Beast?

I was unsure as well, so I placed another order. The new order page said "available in 2024." That actually didn't make much sense, since there are 1-2 million preorders. In the meantime Tesla makes 5% (money market rate) on our deposits.
  8. Glass windows on Cybertruck strength tested with 2" ice ball @ 70mph (with passengers inside)

SS kitchen appliances are easy to clean. The CT will be easy to clean. You just have to do it. WTF is the big deal? Spray Way Glass Cleaner from Costco works great.
  9. Poll: What aspect of CT Are you Unhappy With

Help me with the math. What model increased 60%? Might want to adjust for Bidenomics inflation as well.
  10. OFFICIAL 2024 Cybertruck Pricing, Specs, Mileage/Range, Dimensions, Weight, Info

Pricing for the AWD is as expected. Sure, less would be better, but the AWD CT is a lot more vehicle than the X for the same money. If we can rent the extender for a couple of weeks per year...wow! Ideal.
  11. 265 mi range at 90% shown in demo Cybertruck driven by Marques Brownlee MKBHD

I will be very disappointed with an EPA range below 350 miles. Until there are way more SCs in the backcountry of AZ, NM, UT and CO, 300 or less just doesn't cut it. Life is more than interstate driving.
  12. Cybertruck Delivery Event LIVE STREAM Link & Viewing Party! 🥳 -- Post photos, reactions & comments 💬

What has everyone heard about mounting points and power for a snow plow? With the weight and 4 wheel steering it would make a great plow truck.
  13. Confirmed: 11,000 lbs tow rating / 2,500 lbs payload capacity (official specs)! + Shatter-resistant glass

Totally love the SMC bed! No liner needed. One more major component that won't corrode. "Built Tesla tough!" Sorry Ford.
  14. What to use the CT Frunk for…?

We keep an AO soft cooler in the frunk of our S. Perfect for Costco runs. The CT frunk will have room to spare. Probably keep charging adapters and roadside emergency stuff there as well.
  15. Poll: It’s your turn to order. Tri-Motor for $79,900 or Dual for $59,900

Excellent guess! Yes, Cliff Dwellers Lodge. The Tesla destination connectors didn't work when we arrived. Scary thought! Fortunately, a maintenance person with a key for the breaker panel was still there and could reset the system. We enjoyed three nights of charging...no charge (pun intended)...
