I had forever free SC on my 1st MS (and, on several others, after). But, it was my experience with that 2014 vehicle, it had 224,000 miles when I sold it last year, the battery was replaced under warranty (after it expired), and the FFSC remained unchanged. Well worth it, in my case. YMMV
