All other screens (and vehicles) function normally. But once I get to the climate screen, the app just locks up. I have it on, and when I get out of the app, it even sends me a message telling me the defrost has been on an extended time, and the vehicle has reached the required temperature. And...
I wanted one in Millsboro, De. Wawa.
But since the nearest one is only 10 miles away in the Georgetown Wawa, and two more are 20 & 22 miles away in Rehobeth Beach, (both are in Wawa gas stations), perhaps I’m feeling a little greedy.
Maybe I’m just lucky, but I’ve owned two Model X vehicles and a new Cyberbeast. So, I am both a former X and current X owner, as well as owning my CB FS. None have ever had any half shaft issues. All were purchased new. My 2018 MX P100D was sold when it had 65,000 miles on it, my 2023 MXP...
I had forever free SC on my 1st MS (and, on several others, after). But, it was my experience with that 2014 vehicle, it had 224,000 miles when I sold it last year, the battery was replaced under warranty (after it expired), and the FFSC remained unchanged.
Well worth it, in my case. YMMV
I too, picked up my Beast in May ‘24. I was promised all of the above and more.
This is not my first Tesla, and I am well aware they now can be slow to do what they say. When I purchased my first Model S in 2014, they were far more vigilant in taking care of their customers. They wanted to...
My one year anniversary was May 9. I have over 35K on my Fs Beast, and my VIN is low 8XXX. I have had a few minor issues, but nothing unusual. Still waiting on my off road light, but have a scheduled visit to install the upgraded V4 phone charger. I also just ended my free 1year of SC.
But, if you buy Michelins at Costco, they provide a less expensive option, come with free rotations for life, are nitrogen filled, and include a no-cost road hazard tire warranty. And that will help with what you experienced. One final plus: buy them in DE and pay no sales tax. They even had a...
I just drove up the NJ TPKE from the DE bridge (Exit 1) up to Rt 287 (Exit 10). There was at least one existing Tesla SC still operating in Hamilton, just before Exit 7 for 295. Weird that they chose to keep this one open. I had already exited and got back on, earlier to charge off the TPKE...
Well I can tell you my first Tesla, an MS 60, purchased in 2014, had free lifetime SC. I sold it last year, after driving it for 10 years. It had 227,000 miles on it, and I never paid a cent to charge it. And, I never heard anything from anyone about too much usage. But that is just my...
I actually back all the way in. Until my rear tires hit the curb stop. The rear of the Beast is way past the Pedestal, but the charge port is almost exactly in line with its cable.
Of course, there are a few sites where the pedestals are not quite spaced far enough apart to fit between. On...
Also, just “any” compressor might not be able to get the tires pumped up to the 50 PSI required. At least, not if you are in a hurry. And, if you need to fill two tires, well, pack a lunch!
No it doesn’t. I had serval service appointments and they didn’t add the LB. I even made an appointment just for it. But they wrote back and asked if I received an email showing I had one. I replied that I only had one from last July that showed “I was in queue “. That did not fly, and they...
We took classes there many times, but I worked there just shy of 10 years. In that time, I made parts that flew on every shuttle, as well as on other flying machines like B1B. Life was so much simpler then….But, after moving back East, that is when I started purchasing Teslas. Now, owning my...
I am in a similar boat. I picked up my Beast in May in NJ. I received an email on July 19 that I “was in the queue”. I recently used my free points to buy the spare tire kit. An appointment was made weeks ago, for December 26. This morning (12/24), they pushed it back to 01/17/25. Replying to...
