We had someone who owned a Model X come in and said their kids were either friends of, or on a sports team with, another family who owned a Cybertruck. They said the elementary aged kids laugh every time they see it and the middle school aged kids make fun of it.
That was the first time I had...
Apparently there is a school somewhere in San Diego where the kids at school laugh at the one kid who owns a Cybertruck. It's unfortunate because it's such a cool truck. I see one at least once a week here now.
If you get this truck wrapped that area won't stick correctly so it will be even more noticeable after wrapping. And you may not choose to wrap it immediately. I've had people wait a couple of weeks because that's how long it took them to get tired of wiping other people's finger prints away.
Tesla's installation warranty is only 1 year. If you have any issues during that time you have to schedule a service appointment through the app. If you have any issues after that, then you have to schedule service through the app and pay.... Not that great compared to 3rd party shops.
You don't want to do automatic car washes because you didn't know how clean the brushes are from the car before you and they are heavy.
With vinyl or raw paint this can cause scratches, swirls, or chips.
If you have ceramic it will wipe that off and remove years of it's expected lifetime...
I wonder how much extra range you would get if every stop light had some pads for charging. It would only be 1-2 minutes and it probably wouldn't be under every car. But over the course of a week would that get you an extra 1-2 miles or would it be significantly more?
