Iām feeling a little along those lines as well. Was really hoping that the CT would be like the prototype and be able to carry 6 adults, not as an everyday set up, but as an option when needed. Still, CT is paving the way for the trucks of tomorrow, for sure!
Modification to order is not available yet. I logged into my account to try to switch to a tri-motor option, but getting the āYou cannot edit design at this timeā. Hopefully itāll open as we near delivery time. However, who knows what other options become available, right? If quad-motor is an...
Agreed, but for me, having that extra 6th seat was one of those āover the topā options compared to competing EV trucks. But, CT is still leading the pack in my mind.
Does any one have historical data to offer on Teslaās ādebut vs releaseā prices on past productions? Maybe this may give better āhintsā of what to expect for pricing. One things for sure, the price isnāt going to be lower than it was advertised. But ā¦.. hey, you never know, right?!
Elon, how...
I hope that there arenāt too many drastic design changes to the final design. The prototype is what caught my eye and definitely lured me in to purchase. But knowing Musk and Tesla, Iām sure they wonāt disappoint.
Also, now that design is ādone,ā I wonder what options theyāre going to roll out?
I know so many people loving to hate not only the CT but Tesla in general because I think itās just plain ignorance. They fear what they donāt know or what theyāre not used to. So they āhateā. On the flip side thereās no such thing as a perfect vehicle/truck/tank. There will always be pros and cons.
Canāt rush perfection, right? If itās late 2021 or early 2022, I think the CT is worth the wait compared to what the industry has to offer.
Iāve been wanting a truck for a while and doing the research and comparisons, the CT is hands down the best pick for me. Everyone has their choice and their...
That's my concern too. I'd be so hesitant of not being able to park it indoors, not that I'm worried of the truck being out in the elements, but out being exposed to PEOPLE! It's going to be an attention getter for sure if its parked outside. Don't want any of that near my CT!
Did not know that! That's helpful to know.
If you have more information on how this is accomplished or if you've been through the steps before, please share any tips.
Much appreciated.
CT will replace our good old faithful 2006 Honda CR-V. We got our money's worth out of that car, AND it's still running but definitely on its last legs.
Hopefully the timing of it all will be smooth to let go of the CR-V for the CT!
Solar as roofing, why not?!
Make the glass 'transitional' like our glasses too to not get sun burned driving here in So Cal!
Let's go TESLA, make it an option for production.
USA Strong Cyber Truck: lowered, dark tint, black interior, black exterior with flying the stars and stripes! Actually considering this a wrap for my CT!
Thanks guys for all the tips and convo!
Did you catch the post about the possible factory ladder carrier? Its just amazing of the possibilities that this truck will have to offer. Keep the info coming. Thanks!
