Car wash at home with a regular electric pressure washer caused this issue on my truck.
SC replaced the oil pump, and the problem has never resurfaced in the last 7 months after the service work.
Good Luck!
I think we have the same problem, alert code 'dif_a149'?
My truck has been in service since May 20th and will be kept there throughout this week too as I was told today. So, it is expected to spend half of the first month ownership in the service center.
I picked up my truck early this month...
Another thing I learned within my limited ownership experience: an incompatible aftermarket USB/SSD drive will cause problems with autopilot calibration, thus visualization and sentry mode. Better leave the 128GB Tesla-branded USB drive in its place at the delivery. Wait till the calibration...
I had the exact same issue before (headlight stayed ON all the same time despite of being set to 'AUTO'), in conjunction with no visualization, unstable sentry mode and rear-view camera feed. But something fixed it in the last couple of days. It was either the driving miles or last two software...
Just an update on my order in Virginia: finally got a delivery date this past Saturday (04/20/2024), along with two other people. We will all pick up on the same day.
Our trucks arrived at the SC on April 13, but the accelerator recall postponed delivery. On Saturday morning I first texted...
This is probably the customer CT that broke down on a trip. I think I first saw the post on X. The owner is a bit disappointed and said he was left with $100 Uber credit and 2 hours away from home.
It might also be the one from Tyco Rd SC. I went there on Wednesday and didn't see their CT in...
so far I counted 2 people received their VINs for delivery in Glen Allen, Richmond. Their AWD orders were placed on 12/15 and 12/16 I think (RN# 11274xxxxx, 11275xxxxx).
Fun! Best luck to him!
Road trip from CA to MA without FSD sounds brutal to me. I just returned from a road trip to FL with my M3 on FSD 12.3 (2,000 miles). I had planned to drive CT, but didn’t even get a VIN by the time I left. Now thinking back, it’s probably a good thing.
FS is the only effective way for Tesla to recoup some of the loss on the production cost during the initial launch and ramp. Nothing personal, it’s just ‘smart’ business .
Once the production rate is up, Tesla will have no choice but to discontinue FS. Unfortunately, IMO they will probably...
ironically, the next day after I posted this comment, nearly all people who ordered AWD between 12/15-12/16 in VA got their VIN, including myself.
As for the Beast, you know what you bought into when you ordered. It’s gonna take longer. I am not as patient as you are, I can’t wait any longer...
Good for you!
I went to my SC in person and talked to a guy there trying to get his help to locate my vehicle. He declined and claimed that they can’t see CT location. Maybe I will try to call them tomorrow.
