    I believe the POWERWALL has a gateway. so when the grid goes down it does disconnect you from the grid so the POWERWALL can power your house

    It was mentioned in one of the interviews (I think it was Franz) that said there is a panel inside the door that can be removed and replaced with a monitor to view the camera. that tells me eventually they will have a kit to replace the mirror with a monitor.
