Since 2018. on various TESLA forums, I’ve been telling new owners to purchase the tire warranty from Discount Tire…for less than the cost of 1 tire, the insurance covers all 4 for the life of the tires. I’ve used the service 3 times on my M3P and twice on my Model Y.

Yeah, I hear you. My 2018 Model 3P came with the garage opener installed, my wife's 2022 Model Y didn't..we had the option to purchase the part from TESLA and have it installed, but I went with the route mentioned above.

In Arizona also..I use Avenza maps for off-road use on my phone..works great, download maps ahead of time and no cell data required.
