  1. Tesla Actually Still Holding Top Spot in California

Model 3 may make a substantial come back in Q2 or Q3 due to the refreshed model 3 ramp up. There is no indicator that there is a trend in California to favor other models. But really greater EV sales are a positive to Tesla if it maintains the top positions. The new model 3 performance is...

  5. [Update: Took delivery, 0 regrets TY] Should I just give my bank their cashiers check back?

Easy cowboy. Selling shares in a company that can go 10x in the next 5 years is not the way to deal with frustration. You should be promoting-- not attacking. Legacy car makers will show a picture and never make the car. Tesla is trying its best to get the prototype made. In the end you...
  6. Why doesn’t Tesla improve their customer service?

What is FS? You don't own a Tesla, but you assume that customer service is bad? Since the cars rarely need to go to a service center, what is the difference? The positives will outweigh the negative spin.
  7. hot summer sun and heat from massive windshield?

Tesla has an automatic temperature control to prevent overheating of the interior. The air conditioning will go on depending on how you set it to keep the interior cool.
  8. Cybertruck in low speed collision accident. Significant damage

looks like tesla designed the front to absorb a frontal impact. This is probably safer than having no crunch zone.
  9. 10,000+ Miles Driving a Cybertruck – Things learned: range, great sound and full love/hate list after 10k miles

First of all, they said range started at 80% and they got 164 miles? Assuming it is the Foundation (305 miles of range), that means they started at 244 range. I assume they did not run it to total zero-- probably 20%-- but let's say 10% for argument's sake. That means the expected maximum...
  10. First Cybertruck crash accident -- head on collision w/ Toyota Corolla

Get ready for the negative Tesla news. Headline: "Cybertruck in head on collision-- Still investigating if FSD was engaged."
  11. New Cybertruck crash test clip posted by Tesla (@Cybertruck) -- 12/12/23

Looks like the airbags went off sooner in the CT as compared to the F150
  12. Dont order! Put the press to Tesla to drop Price!

The price will come down eventually. Let Tesla sell to people who are willing to pay a premium now. They can use the cash infusion while they ramp up production. If your idea actually worked, it would lead to cancelation of Cybertuck production. They are not like Ford who just makes EVs for...
  13. December Deliveries -- How Many?

I am thinking the event is going to feature buyers being presented with their new vehicle. I am thinking the buyers were cautioned to keep everything confidential and are probably given the limited option to purchase the trucks already built because they do not have time to customize the...
  14. Rumor: $98900 price for tri-motor Cybertruck??

Yep me too, Except I did not need to bring a check.
  15. Rumor: $98900 price for tri-motor Cybertruck??

Ohhh cashier's check. Make no sense, because people have been known to make fake cashier's checks. I just gave them my bank account number as a payment method like they asked.
  16. Rumor: $98900 price for tri-motor Cybertruck??

My experience is that Tesla doesn't accept checks. Everything is done electronically. How can you just "bring in a check to the pickup?"
  17. 20/80 Li Ion Charging

I have driven Teslas exclusively for the past 4-1/2 years. You do not need to worry about range or degrading of the battery. My Model 3 had 325 miles of range when I started out in March 2019 and Tesla recommended not more than 80% charge unless I was planning a long drive. I followed this...
  18. Removable side mirrors

Do we have any photos of the models being tested with side mirrors removed? It was promised that they would be removable.
  19. We are still seeing Release Candidates ..... public release won't be for months
