Regarding the Tesla speaker issue:
The possible cause could be our wiring harness or an issue with the grounding of the original speaker wires. We have already replaced the wiring harness, so the harness issue has been ruled out.
It may be caused by the negative wiring...
I pointed this out a few months ago. Hansshow sent a new harness and the problem remains. And now my rear camera stopped working. This really is not a good product. I’m at the chuck it over the fence part of this install. I have video but it is too large to post.
Not sure if anyone if still using this piece of junk anymore… but I just noticed that the passenger side tweeter is not working. Brought it into Telsa to diagnose and the traced it to the hansshow wire harness for the mirror.
Maybe some people are getting better cameras, but from what I can garner it is more miss than hit. My camera quality is bad enough that I gone back to using the Tesla on screen. Hansshow support will not support despite dozens of back and forth emails. They will not allow me to return the...
Yes it is crap. I emailed hansshow and they refused to allow me to return the mirror. They also refused to send me a new camera. They offered me a 25% discount.
Installed my version “3” today. Took some video, tbh it does show much additional to the original posters video, but it might add a different perspective.
When I first got my model X in 2016 I thought 250 miles (performance version) was plenty and we took long road trips… then 2 years later I started hating the frequent stops. At this point the X has a realistic range of 180 between stops (battery still says 228). I cannot take long road trips in...
Was your order recently? If so this would imply they are indeed looking at NOT offering the extender and in fact will be swapping the battery on the few trucks that have ordered.
I have seen as high as 1000lbs and as low as 600lbs… I split the difference. As for charging, obviously it would be faster to charge 150kw vs 180kw. Moreover it is likely newer cells will have a better charging curve, further reducing charging time.
20% more power with same weight, might be close to what a 800lbs 50kw pack would deliver. 20% on 123kw would be ~150kw. It would interesting to realistically see the range difference between 50kw + 800lbs vs 25kw and no weight change. Just taking 340 miles plus 20% gets to 410… would you really...
Yes this is very surprising for
Me. I’m leaning towards people interested in the extender actually responding. I am finding it hard to reconcile that 50% of foundation trucks ordered the range extender.
So far I’m surprised how many people ordered. The sample is too small to be really meaningful, however if this trend continues I will be likely wrong in my assumption.
