I just got this cryptic RSVP email for this location….“uncover a few surprises along the way” Booked an appointment on the off chance they’re sandbagging a cybertruck for this event.
With all the excitement I held onto a shred of hope but that’s a very realistic take on it and I appreciate the insight. Guess that frees up two spots for y’all.
Because on the stated order agreement earlier in this thread the base price is within the limit. The question is like how FSD does not count to the MSRP cap. Would the Foundation series line item option count to the MSRP cap or not.
I was not going to order my foundation series over this but if this qualifies for the tax credit I’m in. Anyone know how to verify for sure if it does or doesn’t?
From my time working at a Ram dealer. Cost of 2500 to 3500 was the same just more leaf spring on the 3500. The dually over single rear wheel cost $1200 more at the time and that was your only price difference.
Trimmed out the same the 1500 to 2500 gas was almost identical as well. It was just a...
Right there with you my dude. I’ve been waiting for this thing since the first tweet of him mentioning he wants to make a truck. Been on the forums and X for hours a day for four years checking for updates. After the reveal ended it was an oh shit moment to me that price and range were not...
The scale goes up to 4 which is rated to a 2” steel ball being dropped and impacting at terminal velocity. So if it’s a 4” piece of hail it’s still in the same class. On a rare occasion hail can go through the roof into your house.
I’m waiting for his “hail proof” claim to bite him in the ass one day. Every year here in north Texas I see a hailstorm produce a baseball sized ones that go through windows. Armored glass or not I bet you its going to crack.
Yes we did and discussed it when the poster that said it was 2500 pounds was put online last week. The extra payload puts it into heavy duty truck category. You may have noticed Elon today said it could do more than 2500. They just won’t rate it for more for vehicle classification.
You lose the IRA credit of 7500 going over the 80k price point so it’s really about 27,500 to go that fast. Hopefully there is more value there than just a speed boost.
You widen out the hips because it stabilizes the load behind you from pulling you side to side. This is just an ego extension. You would be better served just buying the semi. It would also end up being a lot less expensive.
