Does anyone in California have Tesla insurance with another brand of car as well? I thought I had read (perhaps years ago?) that Tesla insured other vehicles. Tesla informed me they did not insure Honda CR-V when I tried to insure AWD in 2024. Than in advance for any replies, Paul
Replaced PCS twice, first fix lasted a few weeks. Second fix replaced the 115/240VAC charging cable too. Unsure if was PCS or charging cable problem (or both?)
TOTALLY AGREE! Then voice for your particular reason. Parking for me is FAR WORSE than previous versions, it does some hilarious antics in my driveway, not anywhere close to what I was getting in the first 14 release.
Damn it! My Murphy's Law hope dashed. It only parked successfully ONCE!
So I am patiently awaiting 14.3 and shall keep my big mouth (read fingers) shut until I have achieved proper parking AT LEAST three times in succession without failures.
(muffled grumbling in the background).
I don't particularly care about ANC (assuming this means Active Noise Cancelation) or ARNR as Tesla calls it.
HOWEVER, What I did get was the ability to park (and FINALLY in the correct spot), Woohoo!
I have been trying for 17 months to get the truck to park so I can charge it. It has tried...
This happened to me too when I finally got to order my AWD in Nov 2024. At that time they did not allow referral codes either, plus in 2024 the battery had Chinese parts so no $7500 from the feds either. Had I waited another month + 4 days I would have received both, but I had already been...
I start with “FSD bug report:” and describe what happened. Over time, it feels like it is getting worse. After Grok was available I asked if I could use Grok to report bugs and the reply was yes. I was thrilled, and Grok would usually end with “I will let the team know” kind of responses. Now I...
Assuming your numbers are correct that means the CT gets around 72 mpg (assuming CT utilizes 65% of available of the 123kWh total battery capacity 8[0% down to 5%]). Mine typically gets 2.7 miles per kWh.
I still contend the CT is the finest vehicle I have ever owned and it gets better with...
I hope if/when we get this I can back the truck down a steeper slope than FSD will. I had marked with white 2” tape an area on my driveway I park the truck in so it is close enough to charge. EVERY time it attempted it it went into TAKE OVER IMMEDIATELY MODE with the warning “blast”. Grok gave a...
Completely agree except I would like to see a max speed (preferably %, but give us both mph & %) for each speed profile.
The way it is now I constantly have to change the profile to be comfortable with the speed.
I believe FSD without this suggested capability will NEVER be FULL Self Driving for...
Too late, I just added them.
BTW, that is NOT what is wrong with picture. It IS FSD related.
It parked in reasonable respect to the painted parking spot lines 🙂
When I got out of the truck to charge I just started laughing 😂
Kids playing nearby will rush over too see it! is more like it.
Some of my most endearing encounters are from kids.
I live ~20 miles due east of San Francisco and a few months ago was getting the finger occasionally which made me laugh every time. My usual comment to myself was "get a life". If...
I, too, experience way too often the creepiness of right hand bends on freeways where I am deciding “ok FSD, that is just too much” being so far over the line or way too close to the fast lane divider. Driving up to the mountains in the fast lane there was a strip of asphalt that had a drainage...
Can you please provide parts list for your solution; Suction cups, Velcro bungee strap, rubber tape? Best solution I have seen so far.
Did you route the cable down to the center console usb-c port? Can you describe the path you used? Thanx in advance for any info or pointers, Paul
Thank you for trying, I had already looked it up here. What am I missing?
I found:
CAUTION
Do not use the USB-C ports to power a device with a power rating that exceeds the limits listed above.
Unfortunately I do not see the ratings listed above anywhere…..
I would like to find nnVolts and...
does anyone know what voltage & amperage is available from the rear usb-c ports?
More specifically, can I run the Starlink mini from here which requires 20V/5A?
Thanx ever so, Paul
