My Cybertruck is Delivered Today January 11!! (non-employee) 👍 First Impressions + Photos 📸

This thing is $100K. For that price, perfection is the expectation. I wish I was rich enough that I could accept a $100k car like I would accept a used $10k car.

Cybertruck Highway Range Test (Dual-Motor AWD) -- Run Until Battery Empty (by Out Of Spec)

Well, they are doing a stupid range extender(..well, maybe), so I wouldn't put it past them:ROFLMAO:

Hot damn man. Go back and read what I wrote. I AGREE with you. I don't think we'll see that trim of truck for 10-20 years. I also, literally, never said there were no pull through superchargers. I swear every time I try and come back to see cool shit, I get people who want to argue without...

I would even say the demand for the $80k version is not high either. Tesla is just doing what they have to in order to get max return on the number of trucks they'll produce over the next 18-24 months. It's really what happens after those numbers fall off a cliff that I'm most interested in. Do...

Cybertruck Highway Range Test (Dual-Motor AWD) -- Run Until Battery Empty (by Out Of Spec)

Listen, I've had my model 3 for 5 years now. I've had zero issues with long trips, and I've got the SR+, so I get the "charge at home to full" argument. I also know what real highway range is and what it is in cold weather. It's not an issue anymore now that there are plenty of superchargers...

Cybertruck Highway Range Test (Dual-Motor AWD) -- Run Until Battery Empty (by Out Of Spec)

Makes sense. Kind of a bummer they don't want to actually accelerate the EV transition. Essentially, we won't be seeing that truck until the energy credits can't be claimed by Tesla. My point was more towards beating or matching ICE trucks on range. I mean, the F150 gets 450-600 miles...

Didn't they say the weight is 6700lbs for the dual? Add another pack and you only at another 1800-2400lbs. I'll wait for Munro to weigh it, but I bet they could do it. But, yes, they'd have to redo suspension and whatever else is needed. I'm just mad cause I know they CAN, but won't.

I can't wait to see someone tear the battery pack open. If it's stuffed full with 4680's, I agree with everyone else that this is terrible and pretty disappointing. They will have to figure out a way to double stack the pack if they still want to sell this thing in 3-4 years.

Just Ordered My Foundation Series Allocation! Post Your Invitations / Order Confirmations! 🙌

Just got the email. Don't plan on paying $100k for this thing. Currently trying to find someone to buy it from me. I'm in WA state. Shows estimated delivery between Jan-March 2024

Munro sees how Cybertruck's Hard Freaking Stainless Steel Body Panels are Blanked, Bent, and Built @ Production Factory

I will say this, that video was pretty cool. Hopefully they allow tours in the next 2 years, when I can hopefully take the plunge and buy one. Assuming they're 40% cheaper. Thanks for posting, as I unsubscribed from Munro awhile ago.

Reservation holders must now pay nonrefundable $1,000 "Early Access Deposit" to convert reservation into an Order (new as of 12/12/23)

No offense here at all, but that's privilege. Over half of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. 42% have less than $1000 in a savings account and the national average is $4500. If you can afford this truck, you are rich. I've been saving since the announcement and I could make the $80k version...

Jason Camissa's Cybertruck Review Video & Podcast -- A MUST WATCH

Thanks for pointing me there. If that's the case, seems more than likely they could've had a 450+ range version without having the range extender. I'm still confused on the weight limit after reading that thread. All I got was $$$$$. Tesla put out an inferior product(range-wise) to maximize...

Tesla's Crafty Move? - Carbon Credits, The Extender, GVWR, and Payload

So after reading this whole thread, I still don't understand why it's that terrible to be rated as a class 3. How much do they lose if they actually made it that way? Obviously it's not a little, or they wouldn't do this. But it sounds like they wouldn't get the ZEV(or whatever they're called)...

67% of non-reservation holders surveyed say no to CT

I'm in 11275. If anyone wants to buy me out, I'd be happy to. Even sell you the one when my number gets called. I ain't paying $80-100k for a 350-mile truck

67% of non-reservation holders surveyed say no to CT

I want what you're smoking, 😂. Just look at sales of new vehicles and price points. Conversation rate will be 20%, if they're extremely lucky. People on this forum live in a bubble. Price is all that matters and at $80k for the same range as a model 3 or Y, the truck is going to be hard to move...

Jason Camissa's Cybertruck Review Video & Podcast -- A MUST WATCH

Thanks for doing this! Hot damn that's so rage-inducing to look at . Do the batteries suck that bad? I get the price and having to do that, maximize profit/cost. What doesn't make sense is how do you not meet the range estimate without a stupid box in the bed? 4680's must be a huge fail...
