  1. RN SELLING

Since we are getting into finer legal issues, I am wondering about a couple of things. I am waiting at a million and a half back. I also am on the verge of being in my 70s. Does anyone have any idea of what might happen in any of the following scenarios: 1) If I pass away prior to my...
  2. Camp Mode -- heated bed / vault?

The Chili Pad been around for a couple of decades. More elaborate and expensive emergency room systems for treating hyperthermia and hypothermia have been around for a half-century or more. Someone finally realized they could make a lot of money with a simpler and less expensive home system. I...
  3. Cybertruck XL - who would want one?

No, but I want the van that Elon has suggested might be built on the CT design
  4. Do you think Tesla should honor original reservation price?

Opinions are irrelevant. All that matters is the law. If it's important to you, join a class-action suit.
  5. Does Shatter Resistant Windshield = Chip / Crack Resistant?

Agreed! Not many bullets flying around where I live, but way more rocks than I'd like.
  6. Interesting conversation with Tesla Tech today regarding Bullet Proof Glass option

I don't currently worry about bullets, but I'd sure love to have a windshield that doesn't chip and crack from tossed up rocks!
  7. 2024 Cybertruck Official Specs Leaked?! 😱 - Udated With Compare/Analysis

I guess it was necessary in order to fit in std. garage. I'd be satisfied if the rear gate folded down and a retaining lip flipped up so it could securely carry a full sheet of plywood, like the Silverado.
  8. Cybertruck Insurance Cost predictions?

I read a lot, and this was several months ago. I am not certain of the exact location, but I believe it was in a Tesla owners forum.
  9. Beast Mode Cybertruck specs?

The eye doctor says G-forces will hurt my eyes, so onramp takeoffs resembling a carrier launch are out. But I really want that 500 mile range. I'd prefer two motors plus the big battery. Wish they'd uncouple that package and offer those as separate options.
  10. Poll: It’s your turn to order. Tri-Motor for $79,900 or Dual for $59,900

I chose the trip-motor, based solely on the range. I do not need to accelerate like an F-35 being catapulted from a carrier. I could black-out. I also have posterior vitreous detachments and G-forces could easily detach my retinas. I wish I could get the dual-motor with 500 mi. range.
  11. Dual motor vs Tri motor

Returning to topic, my reservation is a seven digit number. When I registered, it was stated that all choices of options would be made at the time my number was reached. I don't have the need for freeway onramps to become a training facility for carrier launch catapults, but I really like...
  12. Dual motor vs Tri motor

Since this seems to have become a dual purpose thread, it's... we parents still like... Subjects, regardless of whether they are nouns, pronouns, etc., must be in nominative case, not objective or reflexive case. Not trying to start a duel, but simply to follow precedent.:ROFLMAO:
  13. Splitting up reservations made by company

Wrong yet again. It's an authoritative source. You seem to think your opinion is fact, regardless.
  14. Splitting up reservations made by company

  15. Splitting up reservations made by company

If it comes down to it, you may need to go to court. One primary issue here is that Tesla is several years late bringing the product to market. This means that you will not be the only persons affected. What about people who made a reservation and are now deceased? Will the beneficiaries of...
  16. Cybertruck Insurance Cost predictions?

I think there's a thread re. Tesla offering its own insurance. Reduced rates available if you give them access to the vehicle's "black box." One problem has been slowly navigating between trash cans and vehicles parked on both sides of the road in suburban neighborhoods gets interpreted by the...
  17. Cybertruck deliveries to hit 100-120k in 2024 says analyst Ming-Chi Kuo

I was hoping we'd hear about a CT based van before we heard about a complete redesign of CT itself.
  18. Cybertruck bed vault lighting is so clean (clearest photo yet)

I think Elon has suggested that 2-3 years after CT is up and running, Tesla is considering a van based on the CT architecture. A van could serve as a work utility vehicle as well as a camper. If this is actually true, it could be a reason for leaving all these extras off the CT because they know...
  19. Cybertruck suspension & brakes exposed on a lift (photos 9/16/23)

I assume he means no standard brakes if they used regenerative brakes that could absorb ALL kinetic energy quickly and always come to a short distance stop. I could be wrong though.
