Flippers are done! 150+ Cybertruck for-sale listings

I expect any day now that someone will get sued because they sold before a year. Tesla only needs one high profile case to slow down or stop the resales. You can claim all you want on how unfair the clause in the contract is that you have to wait a year, but a contract is a contract and in...

Crystal Ball check: what hardware changes / improvements coming to Cybertruck?

I hope I don't hate myself some day in the future, but I am leaning at passing on a CT for now. One of the boxes it needs to check off is being able to tow my 24 foot enclosed trailer that carries either motorcycles or a car and the limited mileage towing with a CT will make multi-state trips...

Crystal Ball check: what hardware changes / improvements coming to Cybertruck?

I too just received the you are a winner email to configure your Cybertruck. When I placed my reservation back in Nov of 2019, it was priced at something like $49,000 plus $7500 for FSD. Now the Foundation Series is $98,000. Being an average Joe, that is a lot of cash to drop on a truck that...

Just received my email for the Foundation, do I need to take it, I want the base with 2 motors

My exact same question. Got the email that I could complete my order. The option is the FS or Beast. Was not really wanting to part with that much cash on a first year vehicle. I guess I will just wait and see what happens.

10,000+ Miles Driving a Cybertruck – Things learned: range, great sound and full love/hate list after 10k miles

Just for reference, here is how the EPA conducts it tests. Make sure you read the entire article so you understand some of the testing is done with no heat or A/C running. https://www.epa.gov/greenvehicles/fuel-economy-and-ev-range-testing BY THE WAY, I was not able to find the CT rating on...

Reuters Reporting that Tesla can only build 24,000 CTs per year due to 4680 battery production issues

The article probably does have some merit. The 4680 has presented a challenge to build from the beginning. I can believe that the production numbers are low at this time, but there have been a lot of production issues that the very smart people at Tesla have overcome. I am sure they will figure...

No space for trailers at superchargers -

I have never seen a Tesla charging station that would allow a pull-through. With an 11,000 pound pulling capacity you could have something in the range of up to close to 30 feet long. It will be interesting to see how Tesla figures that out. Do we even have an idea of what the range is...

    Poll - Cybertrcuk Reservation

kind of a useless poll, but I'm with most of you. I will hold onto my reservation until my number comes up and then decide if I will follow through on a purchase. Right now I am disappointed/let down, in what was presented on Nov 30th.

Prediction: A slew of CT cancellations on the horizon

Might just wait for sales to slow down and the price to drop like it has for the model 3.

Glad to hear you and a few others have had good customer service, but I have seen just as many that have not. I truly hope Tesla is working to turn that around.

Official: Cybertruck first deliveries on November 30, 2023!! Production capacity revealed to be >125K

Will Tesla do the same thing Chevrolet did with the Corvette Z06 and not allow people to flip them until 6 months? Also, who wants to be the first group of owners of a totally new vehicle? It is not like there is a Tesla repair station in every large city and we all know Tesla's track record...
