I would really like to see Kyle or someone else try this test again with a solid 50/50 mix of highway driving and stop-and-go city driving.
Most of the celebrities and influencers that Tesla gave Cybertrucks to seem to be showing them off more than really testing them.
I enjoy the YouTube...
Respectfully, just because you are willing to tolerate lackluster range doesn't mean that everyone wants to.
If the Cybertruck is only getting 250 mi range right now, it'll only be worse when you try to tow or carry any sort of payload.
250 mi range is extremely limiting for a vehicle that is...
*sigh*
We're not going to be able to get anything off the ground if trolls like you are totally incapable of telling the truth.
250 miles range was not what was advertised at the reveal.
I expect the product I pay for.
Tesla lied about the range. They flat-out lied.
They've been testing, so they had to know the range was only in the mid-200's.
This past week, Tesla lowered the range estimates for a number of their vehicles because they were about to be sued.
Look, it's a...
You are not alone. I am canceling my Foundation Series reservation and demanding a refund.
This was not the truck that was advertised, or that we were promised.
Not even close.
The pitiful range and slow charge times and totally unacceptable for any vehicle of this price point.
Sorry, I don't want to watch a 45 minute video. It should take less one minute to reveal average range and average Wh/mi. Does anyone have a truly condensed version?
Like many others, I got the "Your Limited-Edition Foundation Series Cybertruck is Ready to Order" email, but I don't want to pay $20,000 for what sounds like special badging.
Two questions:
For $20,000 extra, is there anything actually unique or special about the "Foundation Series" other than...
Oh, of course! The size of all that crap in the frunk is objective and definitive evidence of a "robust climate control system" and therefore it justifies the lack of storage space.
JFC.
On it's side, I certainly could. I have a Coleman "party stacker" cooler that I keep in the Model 3 frunk, and it's much, much larger than even my largest Rockpals power pack.
Look, I'm a huge Tesla fan. I was at the Cybertruck reveal, and lost my voice hollering with excitement. But unless...
The frunk looks horribly crowded with junk. Looks like the only thing that's removable is that Jackery-like power pack. Everything else looks like it's hardware. That frunk has less room than the one in my Model 3.
It doesn't look like the belly of the truck lifts much. So while it's pretty exciting that there's a big wheel gap, it doesn't look like it's going to be able to clear something like a log or a rock even 12 in in height.
