Panel recalls, lightbar recalls, a few odds and ends but nothing terminal. Coming from 10,nnn VIN (May 2024 delivery). I wouldn’t sweat it if still under warranty.
If like-for-like and you can truly get a new one for $20k more with FSD, I’d go new. $30k+ difference? Less clear. Many of us paid...
Nice. I have a fairly early vin FS Cyberbeast (May 2024), too, but yours must have been one of the first. Interested to hear how your new one stacks up to the original?
Anecdotally, I had a mid-50s VIN loaner for a week and if anything it felt less refined. Surely some materials were cost...
You forgot one:
Laser etching - Priceless
🤣
Oh, free wheel caps, too, which Tesla sent after the wheel covers had been delivered. Ironically, I don't use either; still have black lug covers and the cheapest black plastic hub insert that was available in those early days.
Free Powershare has...
Just picked mine up after a little over a week in the shop due to no AC charging, described earlier in thread. They threw everything but the kitchen sink at it parts wise. Even a new 48V battery, which was surprising. (I’m accustomed to replacing batteries after having a 2018 Model 3 with a 12V...
Yikes, that has got to be frustrating. Service Center visits wipe out half a day just to get it there for me and another half day to pick it up. A few hours more if forced to use out-of-the-way supercharging.
If it reoccurs, I would sure start to doubt that they understood the root cause. ?
@mmdotking How did this turn out for you?
I'm now going through the same thing after 20K miles and over a year with no issues. May 2024 Cyberbeast. Wouldn't charge from wall connector or mobile charger but was able to Supercharge. Onboard AC outlets were fine.
Service Center says fuse, device...
Very impressive. Have you found it attracts significantly more attention? (I can't imagine.) More or less middle fingers?
Would love to see video of this beast driving around in various conditions.
As someone in tech, Apple Vision Pro definitely made the list earlier this year.
So was a new tractor (Deere).
But try not to stereotype. CT owners are an eclectic bunch.
Please post pictures showing the lot numbers / week produced for each tire. There’s a solid chance that all 4 aren’t from the same batch, and could tell us whether this is a you problem or a production problem.
It could also help others down the line.
As a data point, my tires on Cyberbeast at 6,246mi are at 9-10/32 rear, 8-9/32 front. No rotation (yet). Driven ~400 miles on gravel roads/offroad. Maybe 30 launches since new.
Lifetime efficiency 420 Wh/mi. :)
I'm not expecting these to last more than 25-30K tops. Next set will definitely be...
Excellent video, amazing scenery.
How'd the wrap hold up--do you have problems with pinstriping?
Every time out I seem to gain a few more scratches on the fender flares or mirrors.
Still waiting to receive the voucher from a May delivery. Qmerit finally received approval for the installation credit but need the voucher to proceed with ordering hardware.
Tesla phone support (877-798-3752, '3' for home charging, '3' for Powershare) promised a follow-up but two weeks have...
Also waiting on the voucher here on a May delivery.
Finally made progress on the $4k credit through Q-merit but can't move forward until the voucher/hardware arrives, so the waiting continues.
I did the same but was a little more hesitant since there is not a mileage guarantee on these. That was the biggest factor for purchasing on the M3 and it was money well spent.
Here's the total price paid in Texas for anyone that's interested--$492 out the door:
If you have to replace one...
