They don't let private individuals drive in the tunnels, but I'm betting that once unsupervised FSD becomes a thing, Boring tunnel access will become a benefit.
Can you imagine skipping traffic in this way!?!?
When they become autonomous, steer-by-wire is the way to go because the wheel doesn't need to move for the tires to turn. This would better suit passengers in the driver's seat. It will be AMAZEBALLS if FSD would route my Cybertruck through the tunnels when it saves time!!
I have the same problem and live in Las Vegas (super hot climate). I wonder if this is a warm place problem?
I have a heat gun and will do this tonight. I hope it doesn't just melt back out, but will at least probably be good until next summer when the 100+ temps hit again.
Thanks for the...
FYI: Bright white lighting sometimes makes it HARDER to see in a snowstorm. Yellow Driving lights give you more visibility without adding BLINDING GLARE.
I love the Tron look. I want to hide LED lighting in all my seams to simulate but I'm sure that's easier said than done.
I just did a tire rotation and 2 of the covers had a rattle in them, Tesla swapped them out for new ones. Had they not been swapped, they may have flown off at some point. I have just shy of 12,000 miles on it so far.
They're just focusing on AI6. I think they're doing this because the fleet (cars and robots) will be the data center.
Grok says:
While both the AI6 chip and the Dojo project are Tesla initiatives aimed at advancing AI for autonomous driving and other applications, they differ significantly in...
I just run mine through the car wash (unlimited washes $20 a month) and then wipe it down with a rag. Not hard to maintain at all. If I got obsessive about water spots, it would be different, but it's not a problem, and I think it looks great as is. The toughest part is getting the inside...
I wonder how difficult it would be to fish the cord underneath the dashboard panel to come up in that location? I looked up how to remove that panel, and it requires removing the passenger airbag, then the A-pillar trim first, which doesn't sound fun. To me, this seems like the perfect spot...
This is what I think Tesla should / will do with the Cybertruck:
1. A dually rear-end Cybertruck with a flatbed designed to be great for towing with a 250+ kWh Battery. If you really want to tow big (20,000 lbs), you really want a dually rear end and gooseneck or 5th wheel hitch for safety.
2. A...
Use this as an opportunity to talk to your children about being respectful to others, even when you disagree with them, and how some people, even grown-ups, never learned how to do so.
The fact of the matter is that people mostly get irate about things when they're insecure about who they are...
Ideally, smaller rims and bigger tires get a nice soft ride and float over sand well. 18" rims with 35" tires can be used on Cybertruck as it is now. check out this package:

I would love to see a...
I haven't braved any trails with my Cybertruck yet, but when I Jeep around I need to get under 20 PSI before things really smooth out and I can drive on soft sand without sinking. That's with 35x12.5" tires. The Cybertuck being heavier and tires being 35x10" I'm curious, did airing down to...
