I think the wheels look great. Crazy you get this for the price of an optioned up mid-spec Tacoma, but then that's how it was always supposed to be with CT.
Agree on all fronts! 14.3 was a massive regression.
Forgot to mention that when I now try to use "come to me" on my M3P it confidently backs away from me down the driveway. Kind of want to let it go and see what it does. Go Tesla. Be free.
You caught me. I spend my time posting highly-specific criticisms of FSD 14.3 because (checks notes) I do not own a Tesla and am simply overcome with jealousy.
I have several monthly critical disengagements related to FSD diving off the road to make way for emergency vehicles that aren't there, brake checking people to stop for birds or passing school busses, and lately, sporadically giving up during easy left turns.
I will certainly admit that the...
I intentionally waited until the last day to order the $60K SAWD in hopes that they sell enough trucks ahead of me for the targeted hate to die down. Sadly, I'm not sure Elon is capable of keeping his mouth shut long enough for that to be a reality.
In general, having driven six Teslas since...
These types of videos depress me because of how poorly they speak of humanity. Low-tier channel makes $5K in clicks retreading bad-faith tropes just to affirm the opinions of sheep who view the world through social media headlines. It was the same $hit with my Alfa. All the "journalists"...
I live in Rochester and agree, the Supercharger coverage is pathetic and the state's rules are archaic. We've made the forced 10 hour round trip drive to Mt. Kisco many times, and the "new and improved" option to buy at Turning Stone is sketchy because you have to buy the vehicle sight unseen...
If I decide to buy the $60K version of the truck when my ticket is called, I fully expect to be given $hit for it by literally every person I know and half the people I drive past until the day I sell it.
Cammisa is the only one who is enough of a journalist to be objective about Tesla's actual product and their long term, first principles decisions that move the market forward. Most automotive personalities like Matt Farah hate on Tesla out of insecurity and a desire to gatekeep to protect the...
I could get onboard it if the motors were just bigger but the tri-motor tradeoffs make little sense to me in a truck. Pay extra to get FWD-bias and lose a mechanical rear locker? Nah brah.
Not to mention, I've only gone flat out from a dig in my M3P a handful of times because it audibly strains...
I would say that this has yet to be proven, personally. Fully possible / likely the "G" FDU could be screeching again in 5K miles as this this just seems to be the nature of how Tesla builds them. No idea how it has yet to break through into mainstream coverage / knowledge.
As far as I know, even though it sounds like a bad bearing or some other metal on metal failure it doesn't seem to functionally impact anything. Aside from my sanity.
