My comment wasn't meant to offend. It's just that, for the price, if someone who knows what good optics looks like thinks they are OK then it must be a great deal. There is a lot of junk in that price range. Worked for me!
That is quite the schill! I tell everyone who cannot afford $3000 binos to never look through Swarovski's because it will ruin every other bino they've owned. For $180, anything that is even mentioned positively in comparison must be a great deal.
OK. I just added two files with the "_chopped" suffix. These should fit on most standard print beds but will have to be glued together after printing. Please let me know if they work as I have not tried printing them (my slicer is not showing any warnings).
I wasn't sure if this was something others would be interesting in or not. Since several folks have expressed interest, I will work out something that can be printed on a smaller bed and assembled.
No. I don't think it a bug - just something that was omitted. When you are still, the camera button will toggle the camera app but when in motion, it just toggles rearview on/off. I keep the camera app up when driving and it would be great if I could toggle to the map and back to the app with...
Dashcam Clip Encryption(new in 2026.20): Clips saved to USB are encrypted for privacy; only your vehicle can decrypt them (toggle in Controls > Safety).
So... If your vehicle is unresponsive after an accident, you cannot access the video for litigation?
At first I thought "Finally!" since we...
Daily annoyances:
1) Inability to select the camera app with the camera button (work-around: "Cameras" voice command and/or add app to dock)
2) Dry wipes in FSD (work around: turn off with "wipers off" voice command and/or add wiper control to dock)
3) Lack of awareness of speed limit (work...
All you need is some blocks of wood (others have done it in a pinch with rocks).

Steps:
Drive up tire on to a 4 inch rock
Put truck in extraction mode
Once it is 15 inches, slide the stud under the jack point of that tire..
Loosen lug nuts
go into service mode (see video)

I have the frunk L-track and cargo net sold by Tesla (https://shop.tesla.com/product/cybertruck-front-trunk-l-track-_-cargo-net) but always wished the net could be oriented vertically so I could more easily contain grocery bags. Without such a fence, shifty bags tend to slide and collapse where...
It is inconsistent day to day - even on the same FSD version and same intersection. There is a "No Right On Red" sign on my exit on my way to work everyday. Some days it ignores it, some days it doesn't. It always comes to a stop, then creeps forward slowly (presumably to get a good camera...
Another work-around for when you are stopped in a left turn lane is to turn off the turn signal (tap the left signal button). View will revert to rear and FSD doesn't turn the turn signal back on until you start to move.
Yup. This is #1 on my list of things Tesla could fix easily but hasn't.
#2 is adding the camera app to the camera button function when the vehicle is in motion and not just when stopped. So weird - Tesla eschews physical buttons but they decided to give up prime squircle real estate for one...
I *do* like the swivel feature a lot but agree it is a failure point. I guess that is why they made the footprint so small - so it will tip over before too much bending stress is applied to the coupler.
My wife lobbied heavily against it (has since come around) but in our house "Spaceship!!!" (spoken just like Benny from the Lego Movie) is the moniker of choice.
Yeah - anything that is not fully contained under the tonneau would waste more energy pushing it through the air than it could replace after a full day in the sun for almost any trip making it useful only for week-long outings near but not too near a super charger.
There is a lot of discussion...
