This is a great idea. But I can't bring myself to mount a rearview mirror form factor like that. We need to source a very wide aspect monitor the same width as the CT screen (427mm panel width; 410mm screen width) so it will look clean. I would totally buy this - even with the standard Tesla...
Yup. I just keep pressing the accelerator. It quits complaining after a while. I think this is more than just an inconvenience since to overcome it we are forced to disable emergency braking (holding down on the accel prevents the truck from braking should it need).
Also, my neighborhood is...
Four EV's sharing two Tesla chargers (UWC+Gen3) on one 50A circuit. Works great - three drivers but none of us need to charge more than once every couple days.
Agree, although it is still safer when we pay attention. I would not feel comfortable, for example, sleeping. But to be fair, I don't feel comfortable sleeping when my wife is driving and wake up in a panic for every lane change no matter how exhausted I am.
Kinda sucks but this is the...
Those seats look amazing. Looking at the images on your site, it appears only the "factory pattern" has ventilation holes. Correct? I like the cyber pattern but not willing to give up the ventilation for it.
And one more questions. I shouldn't have to ask but I have already returned two sets...
Zero issues with my 24 Beast - not even PCS (charge almost exclusively at home). Has only been in the SC to install the Armor Package and CyberTent (the latter purchased with the $2500 store credit). I told them *not* to replace the cantrails because I've seen horror stories and right now mine...
[Suddenly Grok admins notice a significant reduction in usage in Tesla vehicles] I know my personal take-away from all of this is "Use Grok sparingly" which probably means I will just stop using it all-together rather than worrying about if I am getting close to my limit. It is kinda cool...
Thanks for the nomination! :-) Yeah, the rear camera things is something I've thought about but it hasn't been a high priority for me (probably because I live in Arizona ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ).
I tend toward goofy so have been thinking more along these lines ;-)
Yeah. It'll work "fine" :-) You will definitely see the line between mirrors but it still a decent image. See image below of the previous model that used three 4"x4" mirrors.
Also, I thought I'd share this. I use these 3/8" clevis pin shackles I got from the local hardware store. This is what enables me to use FSD (truck thinks the tailgate is up) but it also provides a convenient connection point for bungees, etc.
Just an FYI. It was pointed out that this doesn't fit if you have a rear camera washer installed. I have a new model ready with a cutout to accommodate it - just waiting for confirmation that it works before uploading.
