Nice video! I hadn't tried having FSD back out with it. A testament to the robustness of Tesla's FSD.

That looks right. It just reflects the portion used in the rearview in 1X and 1.25X mode. Put the truck in drive to see if it is properly aligned.

Thanks for the nomination! :-) Yeah, the rear camera things is something I've thought about but it hasn't been a high priority for me (probably because I live in Arizona ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ). I tend toward goofy so have been thinking more along these lines ;-)

Yeah. It'll work "fine" :-) You will definitely see the line between mirrors but it still a decent image. See image below of the previous model that used three 4"x4" mirrors.

Also, I thought I'd share this. I use these 3/8" clevis pin shackles I got from the local hardware store. This is what enables me to use FSD (truck thinks the tailgate is up) but it also provides a convenient connection point for bungees, etc.

Just an FYI. It was pointed out that this doesn't fit if you have a rear camera washer installed. I have a new model ready with a cutout to accommodate it - just waiting for confirmation that it works before uploading.
