**** UPDATE ****
I was told today that this error was caused by a "Steering Column Failure". It had something to do with the sensors failing. The redundancy checks that they have built in (to prevent a steering failure) apparently worked. Parts are now on order. Doesn't seem to be...
Damn, that sucks. I’m sorry to hear that. Fortunately the issue should be a simple permanent fix. Still doesn’t make this moment any easier. Please share once you’re back up and running.
In the last couple days before my beast gets wrapped, I had the opportunity to get some pictures of it with a Back to the Future DeLorean Time Machine from The Celebrity Car Museum from Branson, Missouri. Scott Velvet and his team brought some amazing cars to Retrofest in Conway, Arkansas over...
I don't know about the rest of you, but I WAS with Geico until I got a quote on my Cyberbeast. Prior to the Cyberbeast I was paying about $450 a month for 3 vehicles. Keep in mind, I'm near 50, married, etc. . . I added the Cybertruck and my monthly went to $2200 a month! yes, $1750 a month...
Well dang. That sucks you had to deal with that. I’m going to be selfish and hope that doesn’t happen to me before my service appointment. But your feedback is really helpful. Thank you.
I am assuming you’ve had no further problems after getting the issue corrected?
That's a HUGE relief. Thank you for sharing that. I just picked mine up last week and have 1300+ miles. I think we all realize that "Foundation Series" is a code for "Willing Beta Tester". So I'm not surprised with an issue coming up, nor does it even upset me. But this one just seemed massive.
UPDATE: I spoke with Tesla Service. After remoting in they saw a massive list of failures. All the errors cleared on the restart, but we still scheduled a service appointment to inspect. The system says that there is no reason to not drive at this time. They asked that I call them back if it...
Quick background, I picked up my Cyberbeast in St Louis last week (VIN: 20,3XX), so it's not an extremely early build. Up until today, EVERYTHING was perfect. No gaps worth addressing, no performance issues, it's been the absolute best vehicle I've ever driven.
So today. . .
I was at the...
Stephen definitely got better pictures than I did. I think I couldn't get over the fact that I was literally alone with 2 Cybertrucks. My brain couldn't process that.
If you haven't seen the Cybertruck in person yet, just know, no pictures can do it justice. It's so much better in person.
