Just got an email asking for my info so they can match me up with an installer for my powershare, but it says I cover the install cost.... I could have sworn it said installation was included up to $4k. Was I imagining this?
Install Powershare Home Backup
Powershare Home Backup allows...
That is their boilerplate agreement. That fee is for inventory vehicles. If you buy an inventory vehicle from Texas and they transport it to CA, you have to pay that cost if you cancel. You also have to pay the transport fee upfront in most cases. So you only lose what you have already paid.
This is a click bait anti-Tesla article…. to try and throw shade on the stock price and create FUD.
Most people think of an actual recall as that’s what they are accustomed to. I.e. going to dealer. If you don’t read the article then the headline accomplishes its intended purpose.
Got a GEICO quote, they don't have it listed but do provide an "other" option under Tesla.
...with a $2500 deductible for comp and collision, 5k miles a year, it increased my policy by $600 for 6 months.
This is an interesting development, I wonder if folks have been having second thoughts and cancelling their recent order? Not sure why else they would increase the deposit to secure the order.
It is not an available option yet. Haven't heard any news about it since 2021. Would be great as an option but wonder about the cost/benefit. I think if the CT is popular and the cost is not ridiculous we might see it in 2025/2026 since they are focused on ramping.
I have driven both Lightning and Rivan R1T + R1S.
Rivian is much nicer and drives better. Lightning drove fine but overall is just your run of the mill F150 that is electric and the software/app is not good.
Got email at 7:30, ordered dual motor, in CA, 11280, originally reserved RWD no options.
Past (2014) and current Tesla owner
curious to compare Tesla insurance vs GEICO.
