I don’t have a max pack Rivian but I do own a Large Pack Quad Motor R1S on 20” AT(rated for 274mi) and I am very confident in the dash mileage, especially coming from Tesla (I have owned every model). I recently drove from Palmdale, CA to Palm Springs, to Glendale, CA for a total trip 258 miles...
From what I’ve read the dates have only slipped 20 days or so with the new estimate being Jan-March 24’. That said this is the estimate for the AWD which I am assuming you ordered based on the dates you provided.
As far as seeing progress, Tesla normally does not provide updates until the...
This method still works! You can see it a bit early sometimes. I will say I have seen VINs change though. Sometimes vehicles fail the final cert or are damaged during transport.
The CT will be my 8th Tesla purchase. Unfortunately I have never had any info until the date you are assigned a VIN and the vehicle begins transport to your delivery center.
I wish Tesla was more like Ford in this specific scenario. With my Bronco order there was so much info and also even...
Delivery estimates change a lot for Teslas based on demand. If most folks ordered Tri-Motor maybe they became more constrained. But like above, Tesla is gonna be Tesla, and delivery dates are “estimates” and in my experience not very good ones.
Agree with your sentiment and it’s an issue with Tesla vehicles honestly. The vehicles are essentially the same, sans an additional motor. Some may see it as they are paying the additional 20k toward the base price for the Beast and that the separate Foundation 20k is a packaged add-on that...
I’m not eligible for the tax credit regardless so haven’t looked into it. Though I have wondered if they use the base price of the vehicle or the the total sum of added options(the final price). The DM is under the cap prior to the add-on.
Lol happens to me too. I have a kid in calculus, trying to remember the darn formulas and order of operations, which I haven’t used in 20yrs, kills me. You’re all good!
Umm that was a bit snarky. I never said it wasn’t clear. Was just referring to the value. I honestly don’t care… I have 4 v2 power walls and a plethora of panels.
Ford Bronco fenders remove just as easy as these with no tools. Twist a few latches and pop them off. I haven’t seen/heard of this being a problem and I have never had an issue with my Bronco who’s fenders would be easier to sell based on production volume of the vehicle.
