Progress with 2026 Cybertruck containment hold.

I think a lot of peoples' differences in experiences with FSD is a combination of location and expectations. It's really good in Florida, but that's where the 3rd most Tesla are, so tons of training data. Minnesota, probably not so much. Also, the Cybertruck is a much smaller sample size than...

Can't wait for a lift kit on the new non-air suspension Cybertrucks. I think that's when we'll see 37's routinely...

Got in a crash, giga cast fractured (video)

There's got to be some kind of provision in the insurance for of loss of the use of the truck for so long, right?

    Will the CyberTruck be Discontinued

Even with all Cybercabs and Tesla Semis, you still need a truck or van for deliveries and work-type stuff, so I bet they'll keep it, maybe just without a steering wheel. What makes it easy to remove a steering wheel, and what kind does the Cybercab use for validation and testing? Steer-by-wire...

    Will the CyberTruck be Discontinued

If they could get FSD into EUROPE, then I don't think it'll be nearly that big of a problem in the US. Once Robotaxi's are successfully running around in a few cities, I'm not sure what bureaucratic logic could prevent a normal citizen from doing the same thing, especially in the same...

    Will the CyberTruck be Discontinued

I've consistently maintained that once FSD is unsupervised, Tesla will see everything they can produce. Why would they discontinue it in that environment (although the way Supervised is spreading via word of mouth, it might be sooner).

If you own a CT, or have one on order, is this your first truck?

I've had many SUVs there were based on trucks (Expedition, Bronco, etc.) and Jeeps, but never a real truck with a bed. I literally waited half an hour after the reveal before placing the order back in 2019 just because I thought I really didn't need a truck. But then I decided it was just $100...

PCS failure rates by year...is it just a matter of time?

Thanks. Obviously I'm hoping it's the exact same time as it takes for the parts to arrive (fingers-crossed)!

PCS failure rates by year...is it just a matter of time?

I'm ecstatic that I can still charge at 24A (albeit slowly). Does anyone know if that fails too at some point? Or will I be good until parts are available (i.e. in a few months)?

    PCS v2.0

I think because it's not considered a safety issue. Recalls are only for safety.

80% of CyberTrucks have this problem with charging: PCS

Sadly I joined the fraternity of brothers with PCS failures yesterday. Went on a 300ish mile long trip (150 each way) and charged for 5-10 minutes at the halfway point just to be safe. I got home with 8% remaining, and plugged in to my Tesla wall charger. That's when I noticed it was only...

Why does everyone want the Foundation Series?

It's a software switch, so once Tesla owns it after a trade-in, they can turn it on or off as they please. In regards to FSD transferring to the new owner via private sales, that was always the case until recently with the Luxe packages, where FSD was included, but couldn't be transferred, which...

Why does everyone want the Foundation Series?

I was lucky to get one of the first few in Florida back in February of 2024 (placed order in middle of the night right after the reveal). It was a priceless experience watching middle aged women in their cars mouth "What the F!@#" as I went by. People asking if I had built it. Random people...

    Wheel Cover Clip Damage

I would only put them on if you plan to keep them on from now on. As others said, they'll definitely mark up your wheels. I personally haven't seen a difference in range/efficiency in using them. Not saying there isn't one, just that it doesn't seem to be significant enough that I noticed. I...
