In my experience the issue isn't so much water coming down off the back, but backspray from the tires and the general airflow around the rear of the vehicle. The aerodynamics of every car/truck creates a vortex behind it which actually pulls dirt and water from the road onto the back of the...
Speakers (especially big woofers) are notorious for changing response in cold weather, as the rubber around the cone gets cold and stiffer. I'm in Michigan and I also experience a change in sound when it's cold outside. It can sometimes take up to an hour of the truck being warm for the rubber...
I actually just had this addressed by service last week. Funny enough I didn't raise the issue, but they found it during test drive and fixed it. There was definitely a noise coming from there, but absent mindedly I didn't add it. Regardless....it's MUCH better now. No parts....just...
No. I just determined the star bit size I needed, but those entire plates have some play in the bolt holes...if you loosen the two star bolts you can adjust the striker plate about a quarter inch. Was enough for me to tighten up my cable and better align my tailgate. ?
I actually adjusted my striker plates a bit as the alignment on my tailgate wasn't quite right when closed. T-40 star bit I believe...lined it right up. But before adjustment I had the same issue...driver's side loose. Now they're both tight when the tailgate is down.
Quote was a little over $5k pre tax credit, but that also involves running another 220v circuit for a future charger. Electrical panel is on the other side of the house, so lots of wiring...but easy access with open ceiling. Nothing too drastic from an elec system standpoint...panel is big...
FYI...got my truck back yesterday. They replaced the 'device cluster' (1816026-S9-B), which was explained to me as the brains in the battery. About 150 miles later and no issues. ?
I'm actually supposed to pick up my truck that is 'fixed' for this issue. Mine occurred about 20 miles after I picked it up...luckily right in front of my house. :) Also...I was able to let the truck go to sleep (let it sit for 30 mins or so), and it booted right up with no faults and I drove it...
@Dazureus: That's normal in the app and doesn't indicate you're close to a VIN unfortunately. :(
Just don't want to get your hopes up. Keep an eye out though...like I had mentioned above they wouldn't transport my truck to the dealer without final payment first. I guess you can pay now, but you...
It's about 25 miles from the dealer to my house. Truck itself has under 100 miles. It was perfectly fine until that last bit. That was when I opened it up for the first time. Letting off the throttle hard seemed to trigger the fault.
Hopefully you guys have better luck than me. Delivery went great. A few minor issues but nothing earth shattering....until I was about 500 feet from my house then got the dreaded low voltage pull over message. Waiting for roadside and repair now. Back to Tesla it goes. ?
Still waiting for my truck to show up. They said transport was assigned yesterday, so hopefully in the next day or two I can schedule my delivery date. Seems to take Tesla over a week to ship a truck from Ohio to Michigan. ?
