Got the same from my installer as well. Their reasoning is that if your load is higher than what the truck can provide when the power flips then it won't be able to come back on without you flipping breakers etc. They're all recommending a sub panel

I dont think its supposed to be an or. The foundation series comes with the equipement which is now 2500 vouchers AND beast gets 4000 installation credit. the 4k installation credit only covers powershare install and not any panel upgrades

Well the voucher lasts for 1 year and if you're still in your current house by then you can always purchase the equipment and hold onto it. It says you need to be in contract with an installer atm but maybe in the future that opens up a little

Do not get a V3 gateway. Make sure to get a 3V gateway if you want powershare when it goes on sale in the shop. Yes there's a difference unfortunately.
