The issue is still there. I think I'm just so used to it that it doesn't register with me any more. I was driving on the interstate yesterday with just a mild 15mph cross wind and my door was vibrating pretty good.
Luigi, did you end up having your door replaced and did that improve it?
I haven’t had mine fixed yet, however i haven't experienced in crazy shaking from crosswind in the last 6 months or so either so i kind of forgot about this.
Oof, the entire door?! That's too bad. I'd really like to have mine fixed but I'm in the same boat with a PPF wrap that I'd rather not change out. I would guess I'd have to buy a whole new roll of wrap. Dang. Let us know if you hear anything more or if they have an option to replace only a...
I picked up my wheel covers at a random drop in to the service center. I like the looks.
HOWEVER, I don't know that I would recommend people using these with the current design. They come in two pieces and they are hard to get apart with plastic clips all around. I followed the Tesla...
Like everybody else, mine is no longer depositing the liquid with enough spread or lag time to get a good wipe across the top half of the wiper. Having recently driven through heavy snow and ice conditions, this was very noticeable. At least the lower half of the blade is getting good spray...
Has anybody found a fix for the twitchy wiper while in Auto? My wiper was perfect but the SC still replaced it 2 days ago, and now it's doing the twitchy jerk motion while in Auto but doesn't actually wipe anything.
I have this on my Cybertruck, it’s definitely an interesting color. At night or in overcast light most people think it is black… but when the sun hits it is dark cherry red/maroon. Occasionally, and this is rare, in very direct light (like under a street light) it has a copper/orange/brown...
I just got my truck back from service (errr... actually back from the airport because Tesla was nice enough to drop it there so I could have it when I returned from vacation) and the violent door shaking issue has was commented on the service invoice as: "This is currently under investigation...
I determined the root cause of my mirror (aka door, mirror attached to door) vibration issue. For me this heavy door/mirror vibration occurs on the highway when subject to a crosswind. So what is happening is the door on the opposite side of the wind impact is subject to a low pressure zone of...
I figured out the root cause of my issue this past week. The issue occurs when subject to crosswind. The cross wind creates a low pressure zone on the opposite side of the truck and the flat surface on the door (either driver or passenger on the low pressure side) is flexing in and out against...
I get about 5-6 distinct creaks (or pops) coming from the rear on every low speed acceleration and also when regen kicks in at low speed. Hmm.. I'm taking it in Thursday for them to check it out.
I have the same issue but my entire door is vibrating. Now that could be driven by the mirror vibrating and being securely mounted to the door so it's driving the vibration all the way back through the door. Is the drivers door closing mechanism identical to the passenger mechanism? I know...
Does anybody else have a drivers door that shakes / vibrates pretty intensely at high speeds? It seems to occur when drive speed + opposing wind speed > 90mph. The side mirror (attached to the door) shakes as well when this happens, so it's not just the interior of the door doing the shaking...
