We have a 7-seater X for when we need to haul more people. Also a M3LR for when we need a smaller vehicle for parking purposes or wanting to be more low-key. It's also the most efficient of the bunch too.

Maybe ceramic tinting the windscreen is a better solution?

locking it in with PPF is an interesting idea. would the gloss vs. matte contrast get lost with that? i guess long term durability isn't as big of a concern if fixing it is cheap and easy.

Curious how that set-up will last long term. On my CT, the tron lines are layered over the vinyl and some of the edges are lifting slightly. That's the main down side of the layers since it will catch on things. But maybe it's time for a new wrap if it really starts falling off...

are the gloss lines layered strips of vinyl over the matte vinyl?

You are lucky this was not a Turo rental. Dealing with their insurance is the worst. Good to hear the renter is owning up to everything and cooperating.

The covered light is just the day time running light. The headlight is below and not covered. Should have no impact to night time driving. OP, covering the middle section of the DRL is definitely a different look. Cool idea.

We are almost at 3 month mark now. Novelty definitely wearing off, but still excited to drive it every time. It’s a very special vehicle. And every time I think “people are used to seeing CTs driving around now” I get people coming up to me asking about the truck.
