Update: showed up at the Tesla "dealer" to ask about delivery date. The delivery rep called me while I was waiting and asked when I would like to pick up the CT. I said "now". She scheduled me for tomorrow. VIN assignment to delivery equals 2 days for me, not 18. Thanks, EM!
