They are not being proactive at all. Proactive would mean acknowledging that they put a faulty part in your trucks, rendering your vehicle useless because you won’t be able to charge it. For your second note. I think they only don’t fight you if you’re under 50k miles. Otherwise people just toast that are paying up to 7k to get it replaced.
