PCS & Charging Help (board supposed to be replaced yesterday?)

Good Evening, I thought I was having charging problems. I have correct wall mount. Plugged in my truck and gets 48a, but only charges at 24-25 mi/hr. The master tech tested it and said there is an issue and they were going to replace the PCS board (last week). So I picked up my truck today and...

PCS Failure - Can’t charge at all

Thanks to this board, I had my truck checked out earlier this week. My CB has been charging only 24/48 since day one (1.5 years) and I thought that was normal because of the larger battery. Anyways tesla stated that the PCS will be replace and I guess under warrantee since it has only 30k on it.

I still can’t believe Tesla shipped the Cybertruck without a visible rear emergency door release

I bought 6" Red Velcro straps from amazon and used them to wrap the pull loop and have one end sticking out. Also, on the tailgate. One can easily pull and release. about $6.

Do you have a brake dust problem?

Covers def help! lol. I took mine off because the car washes always moves them and their annoying as hell to reposition them. I guess I could get them ceramic coated.

Do you have a brake dust problem?

IDK, my CB still collects dust on the sides of the wheels. I was going to try a local brand, if not maybe try this one...

Why mobile connector can’t charge at 48A?

Thanks Mongo, I only read 24-amp was normal, so this has been going on for 1.5 years! Well, I put in a service request to fix it. Will be great seeing 48-amp charging (and 1/2 the time)

Why mobile connector can’t charge at 48A?

I have a similar issue since I bought my CB. Wall connector is showing 5 led, 60amp. Truck shows 48amp (normal) but only charges at 24amp. That doesn't seem right.

FYI, I re-balance the tires when I rotate every 10k on my CB & M3LR.

My air compressor is almost always running

Mine on CB was quiet until they did some rear motor service. Turns out one of the compressor mounts was broken and maybe the insulation was not put back on. Once they corrected that, the CB was quiet again. The compressor did run, but unnoticeable until you listened for it.

Rear tires wear out super fast on AWD Cybertruck, could it be FSD?

CUPPING seems like the culprit. Bad tire balance from factory or defective tire. I had the same issue with my sport bike. Would have vibrations over 75 mph, which was weird. When I rolled into my garage, the dust on the floor should cupping around the tire. If it was over worn, it would be worn...

Would you have liked a spare tire as standard equipment or as a optional buy?

I bought this one from HF. I can easily lift the truck to remove my rear tires (to put on my lowering links). I bought the new Frunk L-track kit to keep the jack in place there, so I can use my truck storage for other misc. items, tool kit, hitch, sealant, straps, etc. Also, My Model 3 has...

Would you have liked a spare tire as standard equipment or as a optional buy?

Bought a spare wheel/tire from ebay which i keep in my bed with a gate separator. I bought a jack from harbor freight, which i keep in my bucket. Also a tire sealant & compressor and a longer lug nut bar. I can change the tire myself and I use the gate as a ramp to roll the tire into my bed. For...
