Correct, no name. I initially thought maybe someone was trying to buy them used on the cheap by buying the same lists that the extended warranty companies use (and somehow forgot to put any contact info), but this is probably more likely.
Real stamp. Generic label with only an address though, no name. Bottom black bar is the USPS barcode (wasn't sure if that includes any identifying information).
That might be my case too. I was just wondering if this was a wider-spread postcard. I've been receiving one ever several weeks for probably 6 months now, so I don't think it's someone I know, but it's possible I'm wrong. It just seems like a lazy prank given there's no call to action on the...
Maybe I'm thick. I guessed maybe it was someone trying to get a cybertruck for cheap given the polarity of it, but they were too stupid to include an actual point of contact. I'd never sell it unless there's a solid refresh offered because it's the best vehicle I've ever owned, but I just can't...
I completely agree, but what's the point of it? There's not even a website linked so what is their intent? There is literally no actionable item on the entire postcard.
Just postage and mailing address / name on the back. Nothing to identify. Nobody in my direct neighborhood has kids older than ~10. Most are families or retired folks.
I'm just surprised I keep receiving them every month or so and yet I've never seen them posted anywhere else. Either it's bad...
I've been receiving these postcards for several months (Ohio), but I don't understand their end goal. There's no website. No email. No phone number. The flip side is blank except for the mailing address and the USPS marks. The front is clearly AI. I've been hesitant to post this because I didn't...
Update on my order (received my truck!):
1) RN# 11274
2) Configured 12/16
3) VIN received 3/14
4) VIN 42XX
5) Delivery 4/6
6) OH (Columbus)
Also, I was told only 3 trucks have arrived in Columbus so far, excluding VIP deliveries.
I received my VIN on 3/14 for a 12/16 order. If you don't have a VIN yet, I'd guess that you aren't in this first batch of deliveries unless someone decides to pass on their delivery, but I don't really know how the VIN assignments work either. And I used the messaging through the Tesla app...
A word of hope for some Columbus, Ohio orders. I've been told trucks (mine included) have arrived and will start being delivered once they complete their inspections, as early as tonight.
I guess I'm really just curious to know what's different about Citrisurf 77 from BKF and if anyone's compared them. Citrisurf seems to be meant to be left on for a while and then wiped off based on their website, where BKF is more of an active application. For what it's worth, I've purchased...
Strange! Does the parent link work? https://service.tesla.com/docs/Public/diy/cybertruck/en_us/
Otherwise, here's a screenshot of the page I'm referencing:
While I wait for my truck to arrive, I noticed Tesla has a manual on for removing surface contaminates now: https://service.tesla.com/docs/Public/diy/cybertruck/en_us/GUID-E37F1326-EB87-4D02-9007-7034DB54C604.html
It recommends using Citrisurf 77 or equivalent. Has anyone with a Cybertruck been...
Huh, that's strange that a 41XX VIN would be shipped out before a 36XX. Although it's possible the rep I spoke to gave me incorrect information too.
Another off the wall idea might be if one factory line is ahead of the other line and only assigning odd VINs while the other line assigns even...
Actually, I just had another thought. Maybe yours was already shipped a while ago and someone failed to finance or backed out so it was reassigned. I think your and my delivery dates might be telling.
Don't get me wrong. I'll just be happy to get one regardless. I'm just surprised to see VIN assignments happen so far out of order. I talked to Tesla rep and they said mine was in transit to Ohio currently, so that suggests there are at least 500 cybertrucks currently in transit (assuming all...
Does anyone have a theory on why VIN assignment isn't linear? Example:
I configured AWD on 12/16, received VIN on 3/14, VIN is 41XX. In Ohio.
You configured AWD on 1/10, received VIN on 3/16, VIN is 36XX. Also in Ohio.
Are VINs assigned in blocks by factory line? I'm scratching my head on why...
