Yeah ... contacting anyone with any success on this topic is next to impossible.

I've never felt the need to mount my phone. What are people doing w/ their phones such that they want the mounted for easy view/access?

Did you get any response to your email? I've not succeeded in contacting anyone this way, instead only being able sit on hold on a call & then failing to talk w/ anyone that has any info.

Anyone doing that much towing should just stick with gas or diesel for the time being.

The clearly about towing thread, per the title, gotcha. Being the OP of a thread has nothing to do with wandering topic. If you wanted someone to find your general feature discussion (seems the whole point of a discussion), then a so-titled thread is clearly best. Nice 'n easy.

This thread is specifically about towing, Discussions are best kept by topic as the discussion works better, is easier to find. etc.

I see no reference to towing in the Model Y manual, which doesn't mean yes or no. (did I miss a reference in the manual? Page#?) The Y clearly has a place on the back to facilitate a towing jack so I think it's very presumptuous to immediately assume that Y won't have towing. To worry about...
