Well I was struck by this issue this morning.
Just dropped it off at service center who's quoting up to 8 weeks.

update, i went to the SC on saturday, and they almost gave me my truck, but something changed when they took it back to make the repair. they said i'd have to wait until they contact me.
i called them today, and they said, they'd call me back. just got the call that it needs to be detailed...
My truck has been stuck at the SC for almost 3 weeks in a containment hold.
Anyone else have a truck that is still stuck in a containment hold? Or, did you find a way to get your truck to get released?
Heard another buyer had luck yesterday going to my SC and asking for their truck, and it worked.
So, I tried today, and they said ok but we don't have time to detail it. To which I said ok.
They went to the back, and came out 10 minutes later and said they ran out of the repair part, don't...
Yes, but actually, I feel better after running this calc as it's lowered my expectations, and I'll be pleasantly surprised if delivery happens sooner.
Our best hope is that they are able to double production to ~160 /day on average and we end up getting VINs next month and delivery in late...
Using the estimate from another thread of 11,388 December orders (based on form submissions), and a production rate of ~80 per day, and current VIN delivery is ~2200(?), January orders are still ~112 days away from delivery (excluding production ramp and assuming equal location distribution)
